I'm working on a new cover using some elements of the one I posted and the toho Laser disc cover. I was wondering boinger, if you are going to do an mkv file with both english and Japanese audio tracks? I really want to watch the bad dub. I already downloaded the english track from rapid share but I do not know how to match it with the video file. I know there is a way to merge both audio tracks. I am really looking forward to your release! Thanks for all the hard work!

Thanks! I'm glad you like what I'm working on. I am going to play with some of those programs you suggested when I get off of work tonight. I've just been using paint and nero photo editor to make the cover and and I used Quick 3D cover to create the jpg. Can you tell me how to add the english audio track to the mkv file?

iMacross4 UDATES:

1. Macross Frontier

iMacross4 Macross Frontier folder has no files in it. While transferring macross frontier rapidshare files from premium rapidshare account to free collector's rapidshare account, I lost the files. Apparently when I put the files into a rapidshare folder, I still have to keep the original copy in either my premium account or the collector's account. You can expect 3 weeks for the files to be uploaded back to iMacross4. Bitttorrent sharing is slowing my upload speed to RapidShare account. Fortunately, I am in the process of backing up all the files for iMacross4.

I'm uploading Macross stuff to iMacross4 daily. I found lots of Macross stuff that wasn't posted on iMacross4 while cleaning up my computers. I updated the Macross Picture collection. I'm resubtitling some M7 plus episodes I found the internet. Bio has posted AnimeGiga interview of Itano that I'll repost on iMacross4. You can expect new "old" stuff every week!

For example, Macross Share was able to pick up a copy of "Macross: Inside Story" under his Macross soundtracks/music section! Gubaba and Renato are currently looking into translating this Macross Classic audio drama. You can expect more Macross stuff on the way!

I'm not sure which version of M Frontier episode 2 to upload to iMacross4 just yet. I'm still waiting on the downloads. Shinsen subs did an excellent job on the M Frontier director's cut ep 1. Gattai and AiA I-Z both have good points for broadcast episode 1, but are best played with CCCP codec and Zoom player software.

Macross Frontier series episodes will be posted when I can get through uploading remastered M7 7-11 and remastered dyrl with subtitles. I wanted to upload the M Fr episode that I thought had the best subtitles. I like the Shinsen subs for the director's cut. I just finished downloading Shinsen sub M Fr ep 1 just before I left for work tonight. So, I'll watch the Shinsen version and see whether I like it better than Gattai or AiA version before uploading.

I have a whole bunch of unsubtitled remastered Macross 7 plus episodes that I'm planning to retime the subtitles to. It's just a little time consuming because of my other video projects and I tend to look at 4 different versions of english subtitles for the songs. I would like the songs to make a bit more sense. I'm not sure if the English Fire! album version make more sense then the translations I have on hand.

I plan to get a custom DYRL (see Macross Fan Edits thread) uploaded in the next 2-3 days and also work on a COTB fan edit. Then there's the remastered Macross Plus movie that needs retimed subtitles (by Gubaba). Also, I would like to go outside while the sun is shining this week, so I'll probably just get 1 or 2 macross projects done this week.

quick iMacross4 UPDATE:

ericf just happened to have Macross Plus movie .ass and .ssa subtitles from Beefbroth.

I just posted the subtitles now to iMacross4 remastered Macross Plus folder.

It will take me a while (2-3 weeks) to update (copy and paste) the beefbroth Macross plus movie subtitles with Gubaba's updated Macross plus movie subtitles. There's a 1000 lines of subtitles to check over.

(EricF has shown me how Aegisub software is much quicker than than Divxland media subtitler. With Aegisub, I could change subtitle colours and put subtitles on the top margin. Aegisub only outputs .ass or .ssa with those extra features. .srt subtitles are just the basic subtitles.)

I uploaded awesome VOXP mods from Razor X to the Macross games folder.

I'm just uploading the translated Macross Frontier manga 3 by graham, ack em and broody now.

I'm working on updating my DYRL extended subtitles with Gubaba's new translation, so I'll have new DYRL subtitle file for a custom DYRL The custom DYRL will have english song subtitles on the top margin and an english version of the main movie title. I'm doing the extra DYRL work because that would help me with doing the Clash of the Bionoids fan edit.

There's also a possiblity of updating G_P's DYRL .ass subtitles with Gubaba's or my version of DYRL and Aegisub software. One macross thing at a time.

For a half hour I was locked out from using my desktop computer and I thought I picked up a virus. Now, it looks like I tend to push my vista 64 bit (4gb ram, 2900xt) computer a little too far.

I was looking for .srt/.ass./.ssa english subtitles for (requested deletion) Macross Share website. He is going to to post Macross Zero shortly and he would like some nice english subtitle files. I went searching on the internet and thought I had picked up a virus.

So, if anybody has Macross Zero english subtitle files on their hard drives or would like to make some Macross Zero subtitle files then (requested deletion) and I would like that and post them up.

Just a random question: how can I combine the separated parts of an episode? Do I need any special software for that purpose?

The psx dyrl clip with the armd attack has been slightly edited and placed at the Saturn battle scene, which seems to work okay. Then I'm going to take the remaining bit from that psx clip of the zentraedi fleet and trim and reverse the scene and see if I can put that somewhere in the movie.

Just curious, but have you watched disc 3 from the new DYRL release? It's bonus section has the Saturn/PSX cinema scenes and they look cleaner than what appeared in the games and the 20th Anniversary DVD.

You can see if I have been doing much Macross Fan Edits if I have posted on my Macross Fan Edits. I've been auctioning computer parts for ebay, working night shifts, visiting family and friends and trying to keep up with all the new macross stuff coming out every couple of days. Yesterday, I spent all day over at my mom's place. The day before that I was trying to remove a virus for a coworker and today, I'll be reformatting the same coworker's computer because the virus scanners and spyware removers cannot take the virus out of the operating system32 folder. Busy, busy.

This is my last day of holidays. You can expect a slow down of iMacross4 and video fan editing for the next 4 months until my next holidays. On the days, I'm not working, I'll try to keep up with all the new Macross stuff coming out.

(requested deletion), of Macross Share website, has been updating his Frontier episodes to get the best video quality he can. He has DYRL, remastered Macross Plus, remastered M7 and soon Zero as unsubtitled high quality videos. He needs a little help getting the english subtitles to Macross Zero together. So, if you want to help him out with subtitling or sharing newly found Macross stuff, just pm him or send him an email.

The remastered SDF tv special videos look really great so far. I hope more remastered SDF tv episodes show up on bittorrent. Then it's just a matter of getting the videos subtitled.

The Macross Plus movie remastered on macross-share...how is it? It is of large size...3.1g....but the resolution it lists looks like a PAL resolution....

Today, I have more stuff that my younger brother wants listed on ebay. I've been upgrading my computer hardware with my younger brother's computer parts as payment for ebay listing. So, my computer appears to be working pretty good this week. Once, I get the ebay stuff together, I'm working on the Clash of the Bionoids. I updated my work list for this video on the Macross Fan Works : Macross Fan Edting thread.

I'm going to compact my signature a bit. The list of Macross stuff just keeps getting longer!

I thought I had two M7 albums that Macross Share didn't have. Nope.

M7 DYRL is Mylene Jenius sings Lynn Minmay. The title of the album was in Japanese in my winamp media player. oops.

M7 other fire has only 3 rare M7 songs and the rest are just thrown in there.

Gubaba knows Japanese and has sharp ears.

I'll take down these two albums and re upload the 3 M7 songs soon.

I'm downloading gg+ foganime subtitled Frontier and a couple of other subtitle groups for Macross Frontier. I'm likely to just keep the whole series by one subtitle group on iMacross4. I hope a good subtitling group can stay together to the end of the series.

(requested deletion) has opened up a Macross Share forum! It's mostly in spanish for the guys from central and south america, but I posted a babelfish translation weblink on the 1st page of the iMacross FAQ for those interested in dropping by.

I have posted a weblink to an offsite webpage on the 1st page of the iMacross FAQ that can be used in case of MW forum crashes. So, the most up to date info would be posted here on Macross World and I would switch over to my website only when needed.
