Kamineko Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Just as the topic reads. I am interested in getting one and I would like to know what condition I should expect it in. If I purchase one, will it come all assembled and glued together or loose and requre assembly? Quote
Graham Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 If it's the series #1 chase figure, then IIRC there should be no assembly required as I think the Minmay doll is just a solid lump of plastic (not 100% as I don't own one). For the series # 2 chase figure the VF-1 cockpit, I'm not sure, as when I bought mine it had already been removed from the box. However, if some assembly is required, it would probably be minimal and only mean plugging the two support struts into the base. Graham Quote

Should have been a bit clearer on the series in question. Yes, the body just plugs into the head. I was lucky enough to get one! Thanks for the clarification! This will help me find a pristine chase figure. I really doubted that CM's would really go the extra step to glue stuff together for their figures. They already have enough problems just getting the paint correct! Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 yeah, to answer your question the CMS chase figure for the second series comes all in one piece. The only removable parts that I can find is the front half of the cockpit. The base is actually glued on tight. Quote

Ok, wish me luck tracking down one of these without having to buy a whole set . . . Quote

Well, you should've asked me to get you one as I was pulling all the chases out of all the boxes each vendor had. I got one for myself, one for goldenboy, one for bigben, and one extra one for twinmoons. I even pulled one out for the vendor that sold it to me! He didn't even know about it till I kept on asking him to open a new box everytime I stopped by. Quote
