wolfx Posted August 1, 2004 Author Posted August 1, 2004 Took me ages to get him in this pose. The fingers and hands keep coming off under the weight of the sword. That's all folks! Quote
UN Spacy Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 pics wolfx! You know what they say about robots with BIG swords.....right? Quote
zeo-mare Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 great pics i still have not finished mine yet, did you paint around the eyes or did you just use the stickers? Quote
wolfx Posted August 1, 2004 Author Posted August 1, 2004 great pics i still have not finished mine yet, did you paint around the eyes or did you just use the stickers? Just stickers. I'm too lazy to paint anything. Building this thing was already making me feel lazy already, especially the parts that require repeat building like the hands and legs. Quote
zeo-mare Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 the legs are a bitch to do that is what slowed me down, i am panel lining the whole thing and the legs take forever, i have only finished one, i have not gotten around to finishing the other one yet. Quote
Hikuro Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 I should get one on the next pay period or so. I'm buying a new digicam for my B-day tomorrow so hopefully I'll take great pics of my Red Frame. Quote
Omni Existence Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Very nice indeed. I just wish these two would be the next MMM toys. Sadly, or at least last I read, the MMM line was scrapped by mighty Bandai. ..saps! Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 wow, I can't wait to go pick one up!! How much is this sucker running for? Quote
Hikuro Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 between 25-35 bucks pending where you go. Gundamshop is pretty lat eon getting shipments of stuff, they haven't listed Blue Frame or Freedom Master Grade on their inventory yet. Quote
Hybridchild Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Oh look its the Berserk Gundam Hybridchild Quote
Bloodcat Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Wow.. a Gundam that doesn't look like almost every other Gundam. Nifty. Quote
Anubis Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Interesting, but outside of the IWSP Strike I'm not really a big fan of these MSV kits. It is quite original though. Quote
Stamen0083 Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Urgh. That's one tacky design. Red frame Astray 1/144, I love you. Quote
Guppy Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Oh look its the Berserk GundamHybridchild or.. Gatts-dam! I love the Red frame. It's the next on my shopping list. I find that while you can get away without painting MG kits, the 1/100 HG's really benefit from a lick of paint. I've been going back and painting all the kits I was too lazy to paint when I built them and it's worth the effort. Quote

I've been going back and painting all the kits I was too lazy to paint when I built them and it's worth the effort. But sadly for some reason, they didn't include the booster pack for the red frame. The red frame is supposed to have some booster backpack on it. It showed up on the front cover of a past Hobby Japan issue with the backpack as well...wonder why they didn't include that. Oh well....now just waiting for the Astray Gold Frame Amatu and I'll consider not buying anymore kits......and maybe the MG Freedom. Quote
Guppy Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Damn, that's a shame. Because I like the Red a lot more than the Blue - I like the 'samurai' look of the Red over the 'techno' look of the Blue. Quote
Graham Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Let's see it hold that sword above it's head without any support Graham Quote
wolfx Posted August 2, 2004 Author Posted August 2, 2004 Let's see it hold that sword above it's head without any support Graham I'm sure its possible, just that the fingers/hands are annoying as they keep coming off. I'll try it tonight....maybe *thinks of excruciating long time he took to put him in the final pose* Quote
Angel's Fury Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Looks nice wolfx!!! Any parts that require tightening? I'll be getting mine this week. Quote
