New MSIA's for the US

A few weeks ago, the Big Bad Toystore got in the US release of the FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam and the rerelease of the the GP-01 and 02. Unfortunately, the Full Armor Gundam and GP01 have sold out.

Besides the BBTS, has anyone seen these figures at Target or any other store? Are the GP01 and 02 retooled versions (the GP02 looks like it has the proper paint job now)?

Is the FA Gundam the one with all the green armor? Does it come in a big ass box? I think I saw that then a few weeks back at a TRU I was at. I remember looking at it, saying "huh" and moving on. They also had a ton of the Arch Enemy Gelgoog/RX-78 toys.

Most Targets will be setting up their aisles for Christmas starting Aug 1. Maybe after the stores get set up you will see some new stuff. Give them some time to do it though.

I just came back from the local Target a few hours ago, they've been putting Gundam toys on clearance for a while and now have moved them all to the clearance section. In the regular toys/action figure section there are no longer any pegs reserved for Gundam merchandise.

One wierd thing about the Full Armor RX-78 MSiA, is that the foot armor is not removeable, it's just molded onto the foot. All the other armor pieces can be removed, but not the foot armor. So if you do take off the armor, you end up with an RX-78 with big looking feet.

Oh, and the new September issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine shows that Bandai are working on an all new sculpt of the GP-01 with a removeable core fighter.

I don't think they even sell MSIAs in Canada anymore after the 1st wave of MSG from what? 2-3 years ago?
