Say people, aren't the FAST packs for Max & Miriya also the standard grey ones?

I mean, only after getting my M&M 1/48s, THANX Kevin, I started thinkin'. Why are the packs partially coloured in Blue/Red when in the series they are completely grey?

Do you have maybe a screenshot where they are color coded? I can seem to remember  to have seen it

Here's one:

Is it me or are PART of the side leg armours grey in that pic, towards the aft? Yammies have the whole side leg armour complete red I think.

I also wonder what the official colours are too, because for some reason I have images in my head of the M&M's having completely "grey" (greyish green or whatever that colour is) side leg armours too.

I've wondered about that myself. Some official shots have the leg packs colored to match the Valk, other's don't. IIRC, the SD M&M'S in Perfect Memory have them grey. I guess it's another discrepancy we can chalk up to Animefriend.

Here's a couple of custom 1/55s (that I'm pretty sure Jung made. Damn he's good!!) with grey leg packs. Personally, i think they look good both ways.

1 more thing, Toynami made their MPC FPs with grey leg packs.

I remember this whole same conversation came up when the 1/60 M&M's were released. I, along with others, were suprised that the leg FP's were not grey matching the FP tips. Tons of pictures were posted supporting both arguments (I think the first 1/60's may have even showed the tips colored in the demo shots.... anyone remember? ) Anyways...the tips were "fixed" but it was determined the legs should be colored...I always liked the color difference on the legs...thus I swapped them.

Also, while we're on the subject, why do the 1/48 M&M's come with YELLOW-tipped big missiles instead of RED ones?

The other paint gripe I have is that the little missile clusters were left blank white. grrrr.

Unfortunately, the TV animation is not consistant in its depiction of the colors of Max & Milia's FAST packs and IIRC, the colors change a few times in the episodes where the FAST packs are shown.

Yamato will have asked Big West what are the correct colors, so it can be understood that the Yamato colors are official.
