Ivan Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I don't think this has been posted yet. They had all four Alpha fighters on display. http://afigures.com/g/?mode=album&album=2004_SDCC%2FToynami Quote
eugimon Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I dunno about all four.... looks more like three and one awful rushed paint job on a spare blue alpha... Quote
EXO Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 (edited) That's an unpainted red Alpha. It's to show the die-cast content of the toy. All metallic colors on it (except the fingers) is die-cast. damn... looks like I can't link the pic... I'll post my pics later... Edited July 26, 2004 by >EXO< Quote
Graham Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Where is the gun supposed to go on the Shadow in fighter mode? Graham Quote

GreenGuy42 Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 (edited) It's small, but looks pretty stiff... I'm hopin' the production version will be the same way without the floppyness of the VF-1 MPC. Edit: .....based on Exo's video... thanks man. Edited July 26, 2004 by GreenGuy42 Quote

Hiriyu Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Thanks for posting the pics (and the movie) guys. It *appears* from the pics that the knee-cap parts are not hinged like on the 1/35 Gakken, rather they look like they just have enough flare to slide past the mid-section of the leg... Something which I've been wondering about. Quote
1st Border Red Devil Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 (edited) Where is the gun supposed to go on the Shadow in fighter mode? It rests between the shoulder missile pods. Either the left or right one has a hardpoint for it to mount on in Fighter Configuration. Its the same for the Shadow Alpha and Shadow Drone. Its above and behind the cockpit and should be able to fire in all modes. Edited July 26, 2004 by 1st Border Red Devil Quote
bigkid24 Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Exo, Memo, wrylac, bigben, and me waited anxiously at 4:00 at the Toynami booth because they raffled off another Alpha. Some lady and her son won it. Oh well. I got my bookends so I'm happy. Quote
