glane21 Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 If so, I would like to see pics of the build up. Quote
leo Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I thought they never existed!! Please anybody shine some lights on it,... L, Quote
glane21 Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 Yeah, they were very limited resin garage kits sold at some Japan hobby show last year. I believe Black Aces offered some for sale here for like $300. I considered picking one up but I don't like resin kits. It looked awesome, though, and I wanted to see if anyone here picked one up and built it. Also, I think it was the ProtoGarland - the one without wheels. Quote
FlyingPika Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Black aces sold both kits, but the price was way outta my league Quote
GobotFool Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 if anyone wants this kit,I still have them available Noel If only I had the skill, and time... Quote
GobotFool Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 if anyone wants this kit,I still have them available Noel just curious, how much for a Garland? Quote
FlyingPika Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Um how does this relate to Macross? OMG would you ppl stop with doing this all the time....... Hence its in the "Other Anime or Science Fiction" Even if it was in the model section, it virtually is the same thing Quote
Max Jenius Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Its other anime and sci-fi... it doesn't have to relate to Macross, but if you want the breakdown- Macross > HG > Robotech: The Macross Saga Megazone 23 > HG > Robotech: The Untold Story (aka Robotech: The Movie) Quote
robomatt Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 I am not clear if there is one transforming kit... Or are there two kits? (One that is robot mode and one motorcycle mode.) Please help. Quote
Beltane70 Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Also, I think it was the ProtoGarland - the one without wheels. The Garlands without the wheels are the production model. Quote
wwwmwww Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 Just for the record there are atleast 3 variable kits out there. Take a look: By the way this remind me that I've still never seen Robotech: The Untold Story (aka Robotech: The Movie) anyone know if it's avaiable on DVD yet. I've already been told it isn't very good but I'd still like to atleast see it at some point. Later, Carl Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 (edited) By the way this remind me that I've still never seen Robotech: The Untold Story (aka Robotech: The Movie) anyone know if it's avaiable on DVD yet. I've already been told it isn't very good but I'd still like to atleast see it at some point.Later, Carl I just made the same question on the HG licence debates thread, and the guys told me that it hasn't been released on DVD and probably never will, both because Carl Macek hates the spawn and because HG doesn't own the Megazone rights anymore. There is an old and now rare VHS released back then, but that's about it. As for it's good or not, I dunno, I enjoyed very much when I was a kid. Back on topic: That is some bad ass kit! JELEINEN Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 If they ever made a Hargund toy, would people complain about it not having perfect transformation? Quote
