ewilen Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 Is that the small one? I'm not big on Mospeada so I don't recognize the box immediately. If it's the small one, the seller managed to use a clever angle in the picture to hide the fact.

I thought the same thing on page 7 of this thread, but apparently it's just a loop hole for saving on listing fees. Here's the quote of Monkey's answer as to why people make auctions like this. Well it's like a loop hole. You can list some thing that you are positive that no one will buy. Once the auction ends and no body bought it you can re-list the item with the original intended item with a very high start price. As everybody knows that on eBay if you list something and it doesn't sell you can re-list it and if it sells, there is no listing fee. So it's like listing for free. It's actually kinda smart and you can save money, but if you do it too much you can get kicked off of ebay.Rob MN

Ali Sama Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 This dumbass is back lol 499.00http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=41524 Hi, thanks for enquiring. The offer price is not a typo, because of its rarity being a 20th anniversary version. However, i'm open to negotiation for the price of the item. Do write back if you're keen to negotiate. best regards marcus lol yeah . stupid.

If I only knew then what I know now Why's that little thing so expensive? I think that Bumble-jumper (Cliffjumper in Bumblebee colors) is believed by many to be pretty rare. Actually having it on the card makes whats cool about it even cooler and that card is in great shape. Here's a link: http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~mingus/tech/bumper.htm That price seems does seem way too high though. Thanks pfunk.

Ladic Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 ridculous S$H http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4&category=2290
ewilen Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 Exactly. I think I've reported that guy at least once because he's breaking eBay rules against excessive S&H. It's basically a way of getting around eBay fees, but it has the annoying effect of also drawing attention via the "cheap" price, and it could result in some poor sap hitting the BIN button before they see the shipping price.
kanata67 Posted February 23, 2004 Author Posted February 23, 2004 " 2 Transformer Jets SEALED Japan Autobots RARE "" This guys description makes them sound like the holy grail but at least his starting price isn't absurd http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...0&category=4694
