Transforming Elint Seeker/Ostrich

Ive finally got around to trying to transform my Elint Seeker and just cannot get the chest plate to slide down into place.

I've been trying for about 45 mins with no luck, it just doesn't go down far enough for the head to tilt forward.

Super_Quincy says he has the same problem with his.

Is there a trick to this ?

Also with the armour off does the tail fin fold down flat ??

Trick is to extend the front landing gear, then the chest piece will slide better.

FYI, the search function on MW can be your friend!

you have to pull the front langing gear down in order for the chest plate to slide all the way down. its kind of tricky at frist but you'll get after a few tries.

if you want a permanent fix, you have to disassemble the chestplate section and bend the "diecast slide piece" a little so it slides nice and smoothly.

Thanks guys finally got it too work !

Now to resist attempting to put the armoured valk parts on it, I know that wont work, but with the help of some blu-tack who knows.

The search option would have been the smart thing to do, but after battling with a valk for the best part of an hour, I wasn't exactly thinking straight
