melancholic Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Don't forget the computer required to upload the image to the internet and the cost of the internet connection. Quote
treatment Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 (edited) great stuff! just the wrong missiles. but it's still totally awesome, dude! i oughta be doing that, too. if only i have those stands. ( yeah, i know. i haven't bought 'em, yet) Edited June 8, 2004 by treatment Quote
dafunguy Posted June 8, 2004 Author Posted June 8, 2004 Yeah, yeah...I know they are the wrong missiles, but I always have a hard time putting those boxy things on. Is there a special trick? Everytime I try, it feels like I'm going to break off the wings! Besides I like these missles better. Quote

Just put your index finger over the top of the wing directly above the hardpoint and then press the box pod into place with your thumb, voila. Oh, and Awesome pic BTW, really cool!! No photoshop out the table, and stand, and make it look like the Valk is hovering there.... Edited June 8, 2004 by Mechamaniac Quote

StealthLurker Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Nice! I always imagined a great macross display room w/ some all glass display cases and a plasma nearby looping DYRL or Flashback forever.... oh and a nicely framed DYRL movie poster or goldbook poster too. Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 I like it, may be you should do more setup pics Quote
Mr March Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Nice picture, but you need to crop it a bit and stick a polarizer on your camera to get rid of the glare on your television. Good job. Quote
Chuey Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 While I'm sure very costly, that looks very cool. Quote
Onimusha-shin Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 might i suggest aligning all the gun barrels so that when you take the shot, what we see is that we're staring INTO the guns, just like what Boldoza was seeing before his cranium got bulleted through? hehehe Quote

UN Spacy Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the numerous animation mistakes in DYRL allow Hikaru's VF-1S to have BOTH types of missles during the final battle? Whoa. With a little photoshopping here and there that pic would make for some NICE wallpapers. Quote
