Mechamaniac Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 I know these were posted a couple of years ago, but I cannot find them online now... Anyone have a link? Quote
Commander McBride Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 I had them....but I would've sworn I got them from you...... I could screw around with my haro and see if I can remember what to do, if you want... Quote
Mechamaniac Posted June 8, 2004 Author Posted June 8, 2004 I just want basic functionality, I know at the very basic, he is an alarm clock, so that is all I really want him for since I cannot converse in Japanese with him, and I realize he is sort of Furby esque, in that he will learn as you play with him. Thanks Quote
Druna Skass Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 With SEED comming out in the U.S. and Bandai's favorite past time of whoring the sh*t out of Gundam, maybe they're make an english version. BTW, can you make him say profanity. I'd love to have a Haro that tells people to f*ck off. Quote
Commander McBride Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 do you know enough japanese to work out the numbers? It's not hard to figure out what setting is alam and which is clock if you do. Just try one (it's either A or B, if you name the three back buttons AB and C, and the top D), set the time (it'll be A for teh hour setting, than press C, than a for 10s and b for mins, then c, and he'll flap his ears) then press D and see if he tells you the correct time. If he has, you've set the time, if not,t he alarm. Quote
jwinges Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 I heard that these actually learn to converse like a furby. One of the local store owners just placed his in front of a speaker whenever he played anime and it learned some words. I think he said that it learned Baka from Ranma 1/2. Quote
Commander McBride Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 That's pretty cool! I never got mine beyone "Haro! Genki?!!?" and "Amuro...Amuro...Daijobu Desu Ka?" Quote
Druna Skass Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 If they make an English one, I'm going to stick it next to a speaker while I play a Slim Shady album and see what happens... Quote
Anubis Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 (edited) I would love to hear a Haro quote Samuel L. Jackson. Where can one of these guys be located, BTW? Edited June 8, 2004 by Anubis Quote
