it's funny how they have both the big hands and little hands for the full set. The big hands look ugly. And I wonder if the valk can hold the gunpod with the armor on.....

GBp armor doesn't transform! LOL. I feel sorry for the guy though. Can you imagine the stress marks made while trying to get that armor into Fighter mode. Sorry to laugh but it too funny to resist.

it looks like it is engineered to fit tall 1/60 lik they said and not just the fast pack versions like i had feared.

i just wish i could see the engineering of the design what i have seen in pics are not clear enough

i'm thinking those big hands might work on the 1/48 w/ some minor modification? might give a different look? I still am not sure about this set it looks toyish to me, although I'm gonna get it for completism( but not display)..............anybody else think it looks a little to toy ish(early eighty's tranformer? gi joe power armor? cobra power armor(the battle suit w/ different hands?)

I haven't gotten any email-confirmation from HLJ, yet, tho.

I wouldn't bother waiting for that, those e-mail confirmations often come hours after they actually ship it and HLJ have actually gotten better at getting new stuff out the door as soon as it comes in.

Case in point, a new Tf came out yesterday abnd I was surprised to find that HLJ had not only got it in but had allready sent it it on it's way to me. Last time I pre-ordered from them, it took them three days to get it sent after it came in.

These look nice, I might get one while I wait for that monster.

There should be no surprise, Yamato said from the beginning that it would fit ALL the 1/60 VF-1's except the D, VE, and VT.

It looks great. Can't wait for mine. My only gripe is the valk can't hold the gunpod using the tv hands.

I only ment in the look of the production plastic, and I'm aware of the 80's time frame, plus I just think I should of said "cheap looking" plastic

Ya know...that's a good question. I just replaced "consumer-whore" as "yammie-whore" meaning you'll buy anything yammie throws at you. So like a whore who'd sleep with anybody, you'd "sleep" with any valk yammie gives you.

Dude... you need to learn to write WITHOUT capslock on (it's pretty damn rude), and instead of just saying "IT'S CRAP, DON'T BUY IT.." and so on, why not grow up a little and tell us just exactly where the problem lies? And although it's pretty common knowledge, I'll cover all the bases and say, you realize the GBP IS NOT supposed to transform, right??? Battroid only, bub. You didn't try to put this on a MPC did you??? That could be part of the problem also.

I for one, am looking forward to these!

Hmmm... I didn't notice the cheap looking plastic. I just assumed (uh oh! ) that they'd use the same plastic that they had used for all of the 1/60's and 1/48's they've already done. I've yet to get any plastic from Yamato that I thought was cheap, even if there have been a few products I wasn't crazy about. It could be the crappy web images we're viewing to blame for their appearance.

And I actually like the box - but I'll agree with wolfx on the cheezoid porno-cover style photoshop with the flames. I've seen local rap albums with almost the same lack of design aesthetic.

However - I do love just about everything else about the box, especially the front and the sideways fonts. Take off the goofy flames and it'd be almost perfect, to me.
