Captain of the SDF-1 Macross Posted September 6, 2003 Share Posted September 6, 2003 Yes, the yellow Autobot is Hot Shot, who is the young, brash rookie in Transformers Armada. The Japanese name of him is Hot Rod, which is fitting for an Autobot who shares a similar personality (Hasbro can't use the Hot Rod name because they lost the copyright). It should be noted that Hot Shot's powered-up version is coming soon, replacing the Tweety bird colors for Hot Rod's color scheme (and complete with flame patterns).
