ZorClone Posted May 21, 2004 Posted May 21, 2004 hey everyone, my brother's taking a trip for two weeks in China, and I'm hoping to get him to pick up a cheap 1/48 (well, cheaper than I can get it) but I don't know where he should go. Any suggestions? Quote
xstoys Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 This is a question for Shanghai based MW member "Sebastian" ... chime in here anytime. Quote
Sebastian Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Thanks for recommending my services Xtoy! Well, as far as 1/48 goes, you wont have any luck here in Shanghai. I had seen only ONE for sale, a LOW VIS. But it is going for RMB 1800 that is 217 USD, maybe I can get it a bit Cheaper, dunno. So looks like you are pretty screwed. Well, anything you need, just PM me, I will gladly help. Quote
ZorClone Posted May 22, 2004 Author Posted May 22, 2004 (edited) shucks.. what city(ies) would he have the best chance of finding them in? he says he's also going to Bejing Edited May 22, 2004 by ZorClone Quote

CF18 Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Dude just let him enjoy his own trip. At best you may save $40 for something he need to waste a day to find, and occupy half of a luggage bag. Quote
