GRAND CANNON Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 Thanks to this link from GUNOTA HEADLINES for VF-0B kit pics: http://www46.tok2.com/home2/miyako/513m-03.htm Quote
chowyunskinny Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 I DIG that paint scheme. Wonder if it's canon. Quote
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 this kinda makes me wonder if hasegawa put in option decals to make the vf-0b into several different paint schemes.... looks beautiful nontheless Quote
Mallet21 Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 That's nice ..... But I'm eagerly waiting for a VF-0D. Quote
Coota0 Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 Wow...I've got to get one I've got so many customization ideas. Quote
The_Major Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 That paint scheem looks like a play on the Super Tomcat "Show/test" Scheem Quote
azrael Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Wonder if it's canon. That would actually be a 2-seater VF-0A. But for Hasagawa's catalog, it's probably easier for them to label it as a VF-0B. Quote
hellohikaru Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 The VF-0B in that pic didn't even have holes on its airbrake. Wait...i am getting spoiled with all the great work that is Master Cheng. The VF-0B should be slightly longer than the VF-0S released so far. The VF-0D should be the largest. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 It looks like EVERY test-jet. PS---wm_cheng would do a better job, especially on the airbrake. Quote
Nied Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 To me it looks like the red on white paint schemes they use on current Navy trainers. Quote
Grayson72 Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 I certainly hope those aren't the decals that come with the kit cuz I want the version that's in the show. Quote
wm cheng Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 SPACE PROVING WING hmm... I'm not to sure about that, I guess its not too far of from SPACY I think I'll hold off for the VF-0D - unless they come out with a low-viz version. However, if someone had that SuperTomcat 14B, then this would look nice next to it. Quote
Coota0 Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 How can a VF-0 be part of a Space Proving Wing? It uses jet engines, unless at some point the VF-0 got the nuke engines and I missed it. Quote
Akula Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 well... in the third episode shin did get his VF-0D blown out form under him...so maybe he gets a "B" soon... and they do have the reactor-engines... Anyway... i'm not gonna go for it... the VF-0D looks cooler. Quote
hellohikaru Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 I already mention this in the Toy section thread but as it seems fit here i shall post some more. The VF-0B kit seems to follow the XF-2 color scheme of the JDA's Gifu based Air Proving Wing(Air Testing and Development Wing). Does this mean the JASDF operates the VF-0 ? Quote
hellohikaru Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 (edited) Another Edited May 19, 2004 by hellohikaru Quote
hellohikaru Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 There is actually another variation of this scheme but later. Quote
hellohikaru Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 (edited) ..This is 502 with the Blue and Orange trim. Edited May 19, 2004 by hellohikaru Quote
