GobotFool Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 http://www.action-hq.com/cgi-bin/action-hq...tml?id=Cy89Lj65 Found this funky figure... Looks like it's being released by Takara. Quote
Keiichi Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 (edited) omg...that's awesome, now i'll have a use for the other StG-44s I have (bought a pack of 6 of em to go along with the Dragon Kerberos Panzer Cop, couldn't find anyone selling just one...). Edited May 11, 2004 by Keiichi Quote
fulcy Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Anybody have any of the other Takara Cool Girl Figures? Just curious about the quality/poseability of them (have heard about Dragon 1/6th figures, but not Takara...). Oh, and Keiichi - want to get rid of one of those extra StG-44's? I'll give it a real good home! Quote
Knight26 Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 That is frigging awesome, almost what I imagine for my characters combat armor too, except for the helmet mostly. Quote
Sebastian Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 WOOOW.... Me want one. And that Protect gear looks awsome. Really But I rather get a male version. That is a doll after all. Quote
Druna Skass Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Hmm, kind of wish the female version was... you know... more light... Quote
bsu legato Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 That's so very very cool. I think she looks great with the MP-40. Very sleek & sexy. Maybe she could use an Artillary Luger with the 8" (no jokes, please) barrel. Quote
Akilae Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Hmm, kind of wish the female version was... you know... more light... As in... less armour? Quote
UN Spacy Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Whoa. How's she gonna take a piss in that thing? Quote
Blaine23 Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 I dig it quite a bit... I am a bit curious what her face looks like under there, though. Quote
Druna Skass Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Hmm, kind of wish the female version was... you know... more light... As in... less armour? Yup, exactly. Quote
Lynx7725 Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 (edited) Anybody have any of the other Takara Cool Girl Figures? Just curious about the quality/poseability of them (have heard about Dragon 1/6th figures, but not Takara...). To answer this question: Nude, the posability is quite good. Quality is also quite high -- you get what you pay for. Durability, may get a little loose, especially the wrists, after some time. Unfortunately, on the version I have (Power Assault Section -- big ass gatling! ) the.. uhm.. catsuit restricted the posture quite severely, and the added layer of padded vest does get just a little into the way. Overall it's really worth your money. I probably will be getting one of these, maybe 2; I have a MG39 which would go wonderfully with this figure (I got the MG39 specifically for the PAS). Maybe it's time to pick up a Panzerfaust or RPG.. Panzerfaust if I can find it. EDIT: Oh yeah, Takara's official pics of this. Edited May 11, 2004 by Lynx7725 Quote
Agent ONE Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Not to puke in the punch bowl, but I could have sworn that the Jin Roh were all male. Quote
GobotFool Posted May 11, 2004 Author Posted May 11, 2004 Not to puke in the punch bowl, but I could have sworn that the Jin Roh were all male. There were some women, but the armor is generally unisex. This is just a joke figure. Quote
uminoken Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 (edited) There was at least one female Kerberos in "The Red Spectacles" live-action movie ach, GobotFool beat me Edited May 11, 2004 by uminoken Quote
GreatMoose Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Just a quick Kerberos question, there's been TWo live action movies, right? There's "Kerberos Panzer Cops (Stray Dog)" and "The Red Spectacles" right? And of course, the Jin Roh anime. Shoot, there might even be ANOTHER live action one, i can't remember. Now IIRC, the Red Spectacles and the Jin Roh version of the armor is similar, but the RS version carries an MG-34 and the JR version carries an MG-42 (along with some other minor changes). But the Stray Dog version is completely different (although it does carry the -42). Right? Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Oh Man, I gots ta have me one of these! What would make this figure even cooler is if the mask and helmet can come off, so you can have a choice to pose it with or without the mask and helmet. Quote
Warmaker Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 An MP-44/Sturmgewehr-44 would be nice but screw that. You want a friggin' MG-42 with a belt of ammo attached and wearing 2 more belts like Rambo. More menacing that way. Quote

drifand Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 (Checks out pix) Whoa! Biiiiiiiiig thighs! But seriously, I dislike this 'joke figure' approach to the Protect Gear. Too campy for me. Quote

Sundown Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 That official promo shot of the figure posed is incredible. Has to be one of the best proportioned large female figures, still capable of poses screaming character. Just wish she came with an unhelmeted head. Nazi helmet and mask wearing chicks just aren't my thing... but gals in armor are. Seems like the figure's a worthy part of a kitbash... perhaps for an Appleseed ESWAT figure. Or they can just make some female ESWAT operative figures of that quality already. -Al Quote

More menacing that way. Actually, I'm glad she's NOT coming with that huge gun. Leave that for the male Panzer Corps. Women like this are better suited to forward scouting positions, being smaller and faster than the majority of their male brethren. Besides, seeing a woman like that holding a gun that's half as long as she is tall is just wrong Quote
Vostok 7 Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 (edited) With an MP-40 it's tasty but a Sturmgehwere would also be nice I could also see her with a AK-47 and... *drool* must have this figure... Vostok 7 Edited May 12, 2004 by Vostok 7 Quote
