i have no idea how big this thing is. i'd have to sit there with a magnifying glass and count all the studs in order to know. i know the builders S/N but theres no way to contact him through brickshelf.

maybe he'll make an appearance here or over at fbtb...though its a SW lego site.

Impressive! I'm curious if the ship requires extra non-lego parts to maintain the structure when you lift it. I don't think it would really hold together all that well, unless it was completely solid.

it already have been post

Yeah. The guy posted some more pictures of it, so it got moved back into the "What's new in the gallery" section on Brickshelf.

Hmmm... I may have to instal MLCad to see his plans for it.

Damn, that's pretty big. I looked around that site some more and found a transforming VF-17, and except for the fact that it kinda looks like a bumble bee in fighter mode, I think it looks pretty good.

Here's the full page: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=24092

*EDIT* sorry if it's OT... :D

Yeah, I saw that too, and I found the instructions in MLCAD for it once, but now I don't remember where. Anyway, if you want them PM me.

Would those be the files for the yamato or the VF-17? :)

They're not for the Yamato or the VF-17, they're for a lego model of an Ingram AV-98 from Patlabor.
