bandit29 Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 CPM Licenses Doggy Poo Central Park Media officially announced at the recent Big Apple Anime Fest that it has acquired the American distribution rights to Doggy Poo. The film is an educational and inspiring Korean claymation film about an unwanted piece of dog poo that discovers self-worth and its place in life. Doggy Poo won the "Best Pilot Prize" at The Tokyo International Anime Fair 2003 and was selected as a "Best Pilot For Domestic & International Market" by The Korean Culture & Contents Agency. http://animenation.net/news/ Is there really such a thing as a wanted piece of dog poo? bandit29 Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 I must be in the wrong line of work... I don't think my friends and I in our prime beer drinkin' and smokin j's years could come up with this. I'd like to see the films that lost... Speaking Of Lodoss War. How is the TV series? I've been a fan of the original for a long time. Quote
areaseven Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Speaking Of Lodoss War. How is the TV series? I've been a fan of the original for a long time. I've heard it's not that good. The story is not so memorable and the animation sucks. The only good thing about it is the opening theme produced by Yoko Kanno and performed by Maaya Sakamoto. Quote

Then it won't hurt to check the TV series out. Quote
NERV Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 personally i perfer the tv over the OVA, the animation might not be as 'detailed' persay but it looks cleaner, oh and the opening theme kiks as,s not just the music but the visuals too, even tho i got dvd i never skip the intro Quote
