Hybridchild Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Cool thanks for the link mate Hybridchild Quote
the white drew carey Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I'll file that under "Things that make you go hmmm." Although I had no problem at all with Reloaded, overall it didn't have the feel of the first. Revolutions will either complete the storyline, making all three a complete trilogy that works, or it will portray all three in a different light. We'll see. Quote
bsu legato Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Is this the same teaser that ran behind the end credits of Reloaded? Quote
UN Spacy Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Isn't that Monica Belluci (Persephone) doing the voiceover work? I like the scene where Trinity is pointing her pistol and Morovian's (sp?) forehead. Whoa. Quote
Agent ONE Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Is this the same teaser that ran behind the end credits of Reloaded? Nope. Quote

Agreed, its really going to be make or break for the whole saga, i just hope it works Hybridchild Quote
Omni Existence Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I didn't download the trailer, but I do hope it doesn't blow like Reloaded did (IMO at least). Quote
Aaron Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Thanks for the link DA. It actually looks pretty good, hope the movies as good Quote
the white drew carey Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Isn't that Monica Belluci (Persephone) doing the voiceover work? The voice-over work is by wossname... Ummm, the Oracle. Crap! I can't remember her name!!! (so much for honoring the dead! I can't beleive I've forgotten it!!! ) Do a web search and you'll get here name. Quote
Effect Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Nice. I can't wait to download it. I have to agree, the last movie will either bring them together or break and screw with everyone's head. Not like its going to end the story since there is suppose to be a Matrix mmorpg coming out. I just hope it brings certain things to a close. Quote
Mr March Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 Looks great. I loved the first two films. Chances are I'll love this baby as well. Quote
alexborn007 Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I just can't get excited. Reloaded was a huge disappointment for me, and I fear this one will take the story even farther from the first film. While overexposed, the first Matrix film was a landmark...and to see the story take the rather generic route it did (take away all the long monologues by old men), was very upsetting for me. I'll still see it, and I'll probably enjoy it more than Reloaded since they hype was unloaded onto that film. I wonder if that's their strategy...? Good visuals as usual though. Quote
UN Spacy Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 The voice-over work is by wossname... Ummm, the Oracle. Crap! I can't remember her name!!! (so much for honoring the dead! I can't beleive I've forgotten it!!! ) Gloria Foster .... The Oracle Really? It doesn't really sound like her voice. Oh well. Didn't they finish filming Matrix Revolutions? Quote

(Gloria Foster .... The Oracle ) Just listen carefully. I think she passed during revolutions filming, she will still be in it but in a different way, say's my Entertainment weekly from back then. Skippy438 Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 If the movie plays all the way through without skipping or freezing, it'll be 400 times greater than Enter the Matrix Quote
lebhead Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 i can't wait! i'm still a huge matrix fan even after all this marketing hype and bad/good press. Quote
Dangard Ace Posted August 22, 2003 Author Posted August 22, 2003 This one looks like it's gonna be fun. I'll probably go see it as it's the final chapter(or it better be ). Quote
bsu legato Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Since it's not really worth starting a seperate topic for this.... Is anybody going to see the new "Reloaded at the Imax" version? That opens today, if I'm not mistaken. Quote
ArchVile Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Depends where you are. When I was in Boston they had it going during the middle of June. Too bad my parents wouldn't let me go from the hotel to the IMAX by myself, geeze, I'm 16 cut the imbilical cord. Quote
Myersjessee Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 SWEET! Thanks...man...I can't wait for this...Im a Matrix Junkie! Quote
Omni Existence Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Watched LXG this morning. I think it was okay, but it had some very long downtimes. On topic, I saw the trailer before they showed LXG. It looks promising, but the action sequences are starting to look realy really cliche. Quote
Beware of Blast Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 I don't have the connection to watch the trailer, but I hope Persephone shows up again. She's so cute. Quote
Wes Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Is this the same teaser that ran behind the end credits of Reloaded? Nope. Actually, it either is the same(just shorted) or they added a longer version of this one latter on. They were showing at my univ. both Matrixes back to back last night, because we're having some Matrix-themed back to scholl bash thing. I'm actually taking a break from today's thing right now. Quote
eriku Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 As long as there isn't an extended rave/orgy/love scene seqence then this one should be better than Reloaded. Actually it does look pretty cliche, I'll probably wait for the rental. Quote
SuperOstrich Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Reloaded was great and you all know it. Revolution looks pretty sweet. I'm there. Quote
lebhead Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Reloaded was great and you all know it. Revolution looks pretty sweet. I'm there. what he sed. Quote
Commander McBride Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Finally watched this thing, looks pretty cool. I'm sure you guys noticed that the Mechas seem to get some more exposure int his film? Quote
Toby Danger Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Am I the only one who is having trouble getting this? For some reason I download the .zip file and it cannot be unzipped... did this happen to any of you? Quote
uminoken Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Looks to be pretty good so far. The trailer (I think) is the same from Reloaded, but they added some stuff (longer Smith laugh, Trinity with the gun at Merovingian's head) I'm still trying to figure out what score is used, sounds operatic and I hope they go that way with the soundtrack (as Don Davis said it's going to be more orchestral to signify the human element in the Real World) Also did anyone notice the train's sign in the preivew? "Loop" hmm...... Quote
Jolly Rogers Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 The voice-over work is by wossname... Ummm, the Oracle. Crap! I can't remember her name!!! (so much for honoring the dead! (Gloria Foster .... The Oracle ) Just listen carefully. I think she passed during revolutions filming, she will still be in it but in a different way, say's my Entertainment weekly from back then. It sounds identical to the "new" Oracle who replaced Gloria Foster in the Enter The Matrix video game. Quote
wakobi Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 It sounds identical to the "new" Oracle who replaced Gloria Foster in the Enter The Matrix video game. Bang on! That is correct and those of us who had the mental/physical stamina to sit through the Enter The Matrix game will know why the Oracle in Revolutions will look and sound like the one from the game. Blaine23 Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 I don't have the connection to watch the trailer, but I hope Persephone shows up again. She's so cute. Sweet, sweet Monica Bellucci (Persephone) is definitely in the trailer. And she's definitely still very hot. Go rent Brotherhood of the Wolf if you want to see more (an awful lot more, if you know what I mean... she's very naked) of her. I dug Reloaded, but I didn't enjoy the cliffhanger ending or the lack of fulfillment on Neo's speech at the end of the first movie. I'm hoping this one will totally redeem it for me. The trailer looks great. POTENTIAL SPOILER - Am I wrong or is that Joe Pantaliano (Cipher) opening his eyes, laying down, in the trailer? It's a close up and it happens during the first flashing images? It would be interesting to see how they bring him back. Quote
