I saw this camo scheme on an F-14 model (thanks to the someone on here who posted a link to aircraftresourcecenter.com), and I just had to try it out on a VF-1. Hope y'all enjoy.

That looks pretty damned good. Normally I don't like the scheme at all. You need to customize the pilot, too, though. ;)

naw colors are too bright for low viz. IF it was grey tones, all GREY then yes. Ddue that is awesome. PUKIN DOGS BABY YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! FINALLY someone used that damn squad insignia bout time! Hopefully someone uses VF-1 Wolfpack squadron colors next! them F-14s were F***n beautiful damn it. That color scheme on yours is NICE good qwork~! Reminds me of kieth ferris schemes. If it were a tad bit more blue it would be almost like a navay fighter weapons school F-14 agggressor color scheme menat to replicate a flanker. but hell its close enough and its a might damn fine joba t that. good work bro!

Low-vis? Maybe. The 2 grays are perfect--very hard to distinguish. (Many real-life 2 and 3-tone low-vis grey schemes look like 1 single color, the difference is very subtle after only light weathering/fading). As for the blue--doesn't strike me as *too* far off from 35237, which is the "blue" color for a low-vis Tomcat. Since it's got a 5 in the second digit, that means it is a true blue, not a bluish-grey. While most planes and schemes are 2 or 3 shades of grey, the Tomcat does use blue for its standard low-vis scheme. (Often the blue is omitted, thus leaving 2 greys--but if all 3 are applied, the 3rd is blue). Looks pretty close to 35164 though, which AFAIK isn't used in any aircraft low-vis schemes--however that color is used for SHIP low-vis schemes. :)

I didn't realize how cool those poseable(?) hands are. All my 1/48's are first series 1As and 1S.

I only have $100 to spend on my next 1/48...darn it

Does BBTS do layaways?

It would be cool if I could give them about $50 a month until I reach the total price of a 1/48 and then they can ship it :D
