Jolly Rogers Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 I don't even wanna know what Blaine will do with Man-Faye pictures when he's REALLY bored.
Mechamaniac Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 (edited) I don't even wanna know what Blaine will do with Man-Faye pictures when he's REALLY bored. Oh, I dunno.... Maybe something like.... THIS!!! Edited April 19, 2004 by Mechamaniac
EXO Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 Ummm. Man-faye is a banned topic... remember guys??? And for damn good reasons! And this guy should be kicked off to the Phantom Zone as well! yuck!
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 damn...i honestly threw up right now... great...right when i clean up my room too!!!!
Jawjaw Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 Oh, man - that's wrong but somehow oh so funny. The only thing I have to add is that Milton needs an athletic cup or something. At least stuff it with a roll of quarters.
Blaine23 Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 Hee! I'd never seen the Man-Faye dancing before. Here I was trying to be original as well as evil. Mil-tron rules.

And yes, ManFaye is planet forbidden around here, but it's not like I opened a new thread for it or directly posted pics or anything. If we can all see what religion Tron is, I think we can handle a little ManFaye. Edited April 19, 2004 by Mechamaniac

Mr March Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 There's a very good reason Bruce Boxleitner hasn't reprised his role in a Tron sequel and while he may not look as bad as this poor fella, I'm sure we know why
Commander McBride Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Did anyone else notice that there is a chest and back plate as part of the armor, yet numbnuts here eglected to putit on? (Too fat maybe?) It's morons like this who give cosplay a bad name. Most of us cosplayers are normal (and normally shaped...) people who wear costumes that have been carefully made and look good. However, for some reason, fat morons like Milton here love plastering pics of themselves in their half-arsed costumes all over the internet.

Dude...don't insult a cosplayer just cause he's/she's horizontally challenged. You can cosplay even if you're fat or missing a leg or arm. Its all about the spirit. And every one can have a laugh or 2. I wouldn't go into extremes of "give cosplayers a bad name". If anyone who's giving cosplayers a bad name, it would be you and your elitism.
the white drew carey Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Our buddy Mr. Maynard just got featured as the awful link of the day on Something Awful.

I think he should've actually put effort into getting the drape/sash that some characters wore. It would've definitely helped his situation. Any fabric shop would've had the colors he needed to make it work. it just sounds like he didn't want to bother.
bsu legato Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 LOL! Good old "Something Awful." Holy mother of God. I'm pretty sure wearing this costume is illegal in 48 states. It looks like a little slug is trying to chew it's way out of his suit to escape the enormous nerd it's attached to.

It's a matter of this guy's judgement. This guy's pictures border on obscene. I wouldn't say anything bad if he were wearing a costume that was less, umm, tight, but when someone like this guy dresses like this (hell, when anyone dresses like this. If I wore something like that, I'd encourage people to make fun of me!) and posts these all around pictures of it, he should be prepared for whatever people can say about it. It's really all about the costume he chooses to do. It's important to consider yourself when you choose a costume. I wouldn't crossplay one of the swimsuit-clad girls from DOAX, nor would I cosplay Barret from FF7. There are plenty of characters who someone like this guy could cosplay without being offensive to the eyes. This is not one of those characters. I don't see this as being any more appropriate than Man-Faye. (Possibly less, as Man-Faye did his cosplay on a bet.)
Beware of Blast Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 I'm really wondering... does his real voice (if it's really low) turn to a higher pitch with something that tight. Or vice versa.
Southcross Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I e-mailed a friend of mine and I think she summed it up best.... I think I'll be scarred for life and it'll be your fault. I'll end up telling my shrink in the future it all happened becasue my friend sent me this email....
cube Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 You can cosplay even if you're fat... I thought that was required for cosplayers
Southcross Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Hey I have seen some damn cute cosplayers.... the scary ones typically will dress to match their body types... not excentuate it :yuck:
buffalobob77 Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Wait I'm confused. This guy isn't actually Tron????
Southcross Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Wait I'm confused. This guy isn't actually Tron???? its from the never released Disney sequal (never even made it to "direct to video")... "Tron the Later Years"
Beware of Blast Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Ya know, if ya make your picture strobe at a higher speed with brilliant flashes of white, some of us will really drop like flies, twich all over the body, and start foaming in the mouth.

Beware of Blast Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Thanks for your concern. I'm actually having my secretary under my desk right now, so I think I'll be fine.
Beware of Blast Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 *foams from mouth* See, it's a good thing I'm astute enough to hide that strobing gif from my secretary. Let me just say this - if she foams under my table, I won't be the cause of it!!!
