ZorClone Posted April 17, 2004 Author Posted April 17, 2004 er.. perhaps I should clarify.. I thougth it made the guy look like a MAC II Quote
SupremeKaioshin Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 What the hell does that thing fire anyway? RPG? Roman candles? Quote
Warmaker Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 lol i tihnk i see duct tape on that I believe I see what you mean. It's towards the back. As to what it fires, definitely not RPGs. The tubes are too small and the RPG-7's we're all used to picturing is front-loaded. Quote
Neova Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Must get HOT after launching all 4 rockets. Who would want hot scalding heating tubes resting on their heads, even with a helmet? Interesting to say the least. Quote

Warmaker Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Home made, improvised, rockets? How safe is that, especially with 4 of those things a couple of inches off the top of your head? If it goes off it'll leave more than a bald spot! Quote
EXO Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 I think it's funny... the cannons are set up just like the Monster... no harm laughing about it, I'm sure the guys that are Macross/RT fans over there would find it funny too. Quote
JsARCLIGHT Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 In Afghanistan when fighting the Russians the Mujahdeen used to recover Soviet S-5 57mm unguided rockets from downed helecopters and such and make their own crude firing tubes like the one above and turn them back on the Soviets. That device above looks to be something of that ilk... after all, it has been proven that at least a few of the insurgent fighters in Iraq right now are vets from the Mujahdeen so it stands to reason that some of them brought their blowtorch, duct tape and know-how into the fight. And yes, he does look like a Mac-II Monster... Quote
