Rohby Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Hello All, I recently recasted these 1/48 1J arm armors for a fellow MW member so he can do a custom with the recasts instead of the originals. I now have molds for them and can offer them for those who are interested. Here's a couple of photos of the recasts. Forgive me for the horrible photo quality I borrowed my sister's digicam and didn't know how to mess with the resolution. Quote
Neova Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Looking good there! Any chance of seeing pilot and strike cannon recasts? Quote
Rohby Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 The second pic looks like an original but it's not, I tinted the recast a blue-ish color and the second photo I took out the flash on the digicam since the first photo came out too bright. But ofcourse the second photo ended up too dark Anyhow, just send me a pm if you're interested. Quote
Rohby Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 Strike cannon would be nice. But I'll need one that's 100% dismantled. Some of the parts on the cannon is actually glued down. Quote
do not disturb Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 nice dude! i might have to pick up a couple since the original ones DON'T HOLD THE GUN POD! you'd think they test them before sending them into production. Quote
brainiac_08 Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 i might take a set if you recast the whole tv Fast pack set J.J. Quote
VF1A-FAN Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Nice job on these. Any chance of getting a set that matches the color of the movie version fastpacks? I just like the shape better than the movie version. The TV versions also hold up the arms better when in fighter mode. That way the gunpod doesn't drag. Again, Excellent Job!!!!! Now, bring on the Pilot Recast!!!!! Quote
Eternal_D Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 i might take a set if you recast the whole tv Fast pack set J.J. recasting the whole FP would be impractical because of the mold costs. it would probably drive cost up to the cost of buying orignal FPs... Quote
