Which sub of M02 is the best?

I was wondering which sub copy of Macross Zero 2 is the best? The options i have are [AJ], NLA, ANBU-AonE.

I'm voting for the ANBU-AonE version because it's the one that I have. It's also the largest version of Macross Zero's 2nd episode, weighing in at a huge 343MB's with excellent video and near perfect subtitles.

I agree that ANBU-AonE has the best subs for both part 1 and 2. However only part 2 is available in 5.1 sound. The ANBU-AonE part one is significantly smaller in file size due in part to lower audio encoding I think though it may also use lower video encoding though I don't notice a difference. NLA anime has both parts in 5.1 with excellent video encoding. The subs aren't bad either.

PS: Whatever happened to the Infusion version? I don't see it around anymore...

My favorite one is the one where they sub it into English. I find I really understand what the story is about when I can actually read...what the story is about. So I would recommend the English version if English is your primary language.

I went with the ANBU-AonE verison. I was looking for an r-b version since that is what I have for the 1st episode. Anyway downloading now, can't wait to watch it.

ANBU-AonE for me too for both episodes.

with alittle extra work with virtualdub+dvdsubber:

- RAW Video from other source

- AC3 from some other digisub group (Virtualdub time )

- subtitles written to a separate file (the best of ANBU with some modifications from ricebox (song at the end)) (with DVDSubber )

- subtitles translated to another TXT for my own language (Notepad )

Total time to make it: ~5 hours (3 for the sub retyping and timing)

and probably this will be for episodes 3-5 too.
