tank Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Is there a t.v series on the expanded star wars universe? Quote
Jolly Rogers Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Nope. Clone Wars and the Xmas specials were the only Star Wars shows made for TV. Quote
Pat Payne Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 (edited) Yes...and no. There's a mini ("micro") -series called "Clone Wars" which is a part of the expanded universe, but might also be canon depending on Lucas' whim. EDIT IN: Damn you, Jolly Rogers! Damn youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..... Edited April 1, 2004 by Pat Payne Quote
EXO Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 What about The Ewoks and Droid cartoons. Also the two Endor mini-serieses. (kinda bugged me that they had horses, when the movies tried so hard to have no earth-based animals in it, except humans ) Quote
Effect Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 (edited) There were also the Droids and Ewoks cartoons that aired during the 80s. I liked Droids and Ewoks was entertaining. Ender mini-series? All I know of it is the two movies that took place on Endor(Ewok Adventure and Return to Endor I think the titles were). Now lastly is the micro-series Clone Wars. Jolly Rogers Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Oh yeah, forgot about Droids and Ewoks. I thought he was referring to the Expanded Universe from around and after the classic trilogy, with characters mostly from the novels and Dark Horse graphic novels. Quote
tank Posted April 1, 2004 Author Posted April 1, 2004 (edited) well I was searching this site and saw some pics of an actress? from the expanded unvierse http://estore.theforce.net/products.asp?id=12&pg=5 http://estore.theforce.net/proddetail.asp?...Randle2%2D11x14 Edited April 1, 2004 by tank Quote
Jolly Rogers Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 The Mara Jade character appeared in some Star Wars games. She might have done voice or even cosplayed as the character if they shot live action footage for the games. Quote

Knowing Lucasfilm, it was probably the same actress. Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 (edited) setting the record clear on star wars tv stuff. two ewoks movies caravan of courage battle for endor both are about a family that gets stranded on endor and have adventures. (note most of the family gets wiped out in the second movie.) 3 star wars cartoons droids ewoks and the new clone wars mini episodes one animated tv movie Droids: the great heap (esentially a pilot for the cartoon.) EDIT: like most people I forgot(or am trying to forget) the holiday special. Edited April 1, 2004 by renegadeleader1 Quote
wolfx Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 I know the endor movies, the droids and ewoks cartoons...but what is this holiday special thing? Quote
bsu legato Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 but what is this holiday special thing? No! Just stop right there. Go back to the forum index and forget you even asked that question. Trust me, you don't want to know the answer. Quote

bsu legato Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 The art of pimping Star Wars at its finest Oh, if you're going to do that, do it right. I don't think there's a more definitive SW: Holiday Special site than THIS one. Quote
MrDisco Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 i dont know why everyone has to put down the SW:Holiday Special. its a piece of classic television history at its finest. Quote
Chuey Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Silly fan boys, you forgot the Donny and Marie Star Wars Parody. Ironic watching the Osmonds play characters who turn out to be brother and sister. The Osmonds dressed as Luke and Leia singing. Dancing stormtroopers Quote
Commander McBride Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 I'd never actually seen screenshots of the holiday special. Is it just me, or does Boba Fett look like a bootleg? Quote

Effect Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 I've never seen the holiday special. Honestly I'm interested in checking out to just to see why it isn't liked. Quote
Warmaker Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 I've never seen the special. I'm curious now. Kind of like kids..."Now whatever you do, don't touch that!" I want to see it so I can have my eyes bleed. Quote

Oh...My...Dear...Lord...No. That is so #@$%ing wrong on so many levels. I'd almost say that's fractionally worse than the Holiday Special, because there, at least, they were able to put a gun to Harrison Ford's head and have him do his only IIRC TV appearance. Paul Lynde (For those unfamiliar with the name, he was the uncle on Bewitched) as an Imperial Officer?!? Red Foxx as Obi-Wan Kenobi?!?!? Kris Kristoferson as Han Solo ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? DANCING STORMTROOPERS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It's official. Jar-Jar is NOT the worst thing in the SW universe. By a long shot. Edited April 1, 2004 by Pat Payne Quote
