i just noticed that the x-43 was successfull and was going to post but thought not to because it was out of topic. most threads that concern aviation end up in the other/ scifi forum, I know this forum deals with macross. but alot of people who vist here are in avation related jobs or are intrested in the field. i was just gauging if others feel we need an avation section.

I say no, because then we might need a section just for robotics, and one for music, and a new section just for Gundam, and one for Transformers, and so on and so forth.

I like the big thread idea as well... I once got suckered into a 20 post derailment about the definition of vernier before I realized I was way out of my depth and I pulled the escape lever.

Maybe some kind of "Pinned Topic Forum"

where all the stickies go once a certain subject pops up a number of times

to make it usefull it should be placed above the "Movies & TV series" forum

with a comment in the lines of: "Check this for popular subjects"

There are only a few around here would care about an avaiation section... Its like the gun thread or the Arnold thread, yeah there are lots of posts, but participation doesn't reflect the wants and needs of the board as a whole.
