2. the cockpit cover in battroid mode still make with clear parts and come with a

ugly, blur panel line on it.....

Thanks for the review, but can you be more clear about the heat shield? What do you mean that it has a "ugly, blur panel line on it"?

originally, every VF-1 HEAT shield must have a panel line on it.

but all the yamato 1/48 DYRL VF-1 are miss this.

just TV VF-1J have this panel line.

the hikaru's one made by solid white plastic, have a thin & sharp panel print on it ,but have some off position problem.

The max's one use clear plastic again, and the panel line too blur and thick.

there have two picture:

kakizaki's one was added panel line by myself,

(sorry, I haven't got the pic of hikaru 1J here)

the max's one I tuned the level, now you can see this clearly.

Hey, at least they're symetrical! :p No, seriously though, maybe it's part of the mold, like an error or somthing. I dunno.

The head lasers are supposed to be blue.

Graham

yes I know, so I don't say"wrong" just say "odd" :p

this coloring in animation still ok,

once it become a toy product, it'll seen like forgot to do a paint work on it.

Why can't Yamato fix the chip under each intake that has plauged every single 1/48?

I have the same on my Hikaru 1S.

They are definitely seam lines coming from the mold, they are too symmetrical to be anything else.

gee...if it's meant to be white, then why is it that it's blue on the 1/60?

Why are they white?

Because it looks better!!!

Hehe. . . just my opinion of course. I'm actually glad they're white. Provides a bit more contrast.

Plus, all of those are moving parts that get scraped up during transformation. maybe they wanted to keep it white to hide any wear that might take place?

It won't scratch off if they molded it out of blue plastic!

Doesn't matter, I ordered mine already. Gotta have the max!

Even non-painted plastic can show wear. . . and I think blue might show wear more easily than white.

I was careful not to mention paint. :)

I'm very happy to see that the blue is more traditional as opposed to that baby shower stuff. Kick ass, indeed!
