GobotFool Posted September 1, 2003 Author Posted September 1, 2003 and if a GP-01 is made you know what the encore will be B) Quote
Abombz!! Posted September 1, 2003 Posted September 1, 2003 (edited) About damn time!!!!! So... it comes with part for both the FB and the standard GP01? Nice! But GP01 only looks good standard. But gee.... so expensive? Edited September 1, 2003 by Abombz!! Quote
GobotFool Posted September 1, 2003 Author Posted September 1, 2003 (edited) Lets see a PG GP-03 with accessories B) Edited September 1, 2003 by GobotFool Quote
BYG-DAMN Posted September 1, 2003 Posted September 1, 2003 That is going to be nice PG kit. With each evolution the series has gotten better and better. Finally another core fighter! I just hope it has strong ankles because the MK-II didn't and they tended to give way after a while. Quote
GobotFool Posted September 1, 2003 Author Posted September 1, 2003 yeah as people are saying the HG UC's are becoming more and more like MGs, the MGs are becoming more and more like PGs, and the PGs are just becoming more perfect, whats next functional grades where they run around with fluid realism and beat the crap out of each other? Isamu Atreides 86 Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 are there any pics of this thing?? Quote
Graham Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Lucky I don't like Gundam (except for Sentinel). More money to save for Macross goodies, or beer B) Graham Quote
TwinkiePlatter Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 This might be what it takes to get me to buy a PG kit! It's just too bad that it isn't the GP03s... Quote
Wing Commander Chen Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 are there any pics of this thing?? I saw pics before HLJ made it availiable for preorder, but I initially thought they were fake/resin kit or something. Quote
Wing Commander Chen Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Here's the GP01 itself . . . Quote
Wing Commander Chen Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 . . . and with that Justice Gundam box for size reference. Quote
GobotFool Posted September 2, 2003 Author Posted September 2, 2003 what the!?!! does that scafolding come with it?? Quote
Sebastian Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 YES! I wanted to get a new PG so badly, good news it is a cool gundam design. But I still prefer the MS. Quote
Guppy Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 NICE! And for the bargain price of US$171! I'll still get a Titans PG before I get this one though. Quote
Isamu Atreides 86 Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 wow. that looks really cool. but i am still hoping for that Ez-8 PG!!! Quote
Vostok 7 Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 (edited) Bandai PWN3ZORZ me. Not a huge fan of the GP01fb, but I still want it!!! 'course, I'll probably just wait until Ai gets one and see what she says Vostok 7 Edited September 2, 2003 by Vostok 7 Quote
Yohsho Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Hmm, very tempting PG, but I've got too many big things (ie. PG Models, Statues, Valk) in my room to fit in another one. I think I'll wait till the price goes down. I'm just wondering, why everyone wants PG GP03, the MG GP03 was big enough. Quote
Vostok 7 Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 (edited) I think you meant HGUC GP03? An MG GP03S and O would be STINKING HUGE!! (edit: oh yes, and of course the MG GP03S) And then... could you imagine a PG GP03S and O?!?! ...we've discussed it many a time before (taking over small, defenseless countries?) but still  Vostok 7 Edited September 2, 2003 by Vostok 7 Quote
areaseven Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Goddamnit! Right when I'm saving up for the 1/48 FAST Packs, Bandai decides to tempt me to file for bankruptcy with this new PG Gundam. Quote
Yohsho Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Ya I get lazy and call the D and S just GP03 cuz I can't say their names. Last time I went to Richmond my friend tried to tempt me into getting the big box known GP03D, but I wasn't gonna lug that thing around with me all day. Quote
ArchVile Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Meh, I still wish they had a Nu Gundam PG instead. Quote
Sebastian Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I also wanted a Nu Gundam, but just for the upgrades options... Personally I prefer the Gp with those FB.... is gonna be cool! About the GP 03... that think is a monster. Personally I am not fond with it design. Anyways to get the GP 03 in PG is a surprise for me, I was really specting a Nu Gundam or another RX 7.. variant. Pice expensive... yep. Quote
Commander McBride Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I hope you will be able to make the GP-01 as the standard model. I like that version a little more. Quote
Just Gundam Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I hope you will be able to make the GP-01 as the standard model. I like that version a little more. Of course you can build it as either GP01 or GP01Fb, which explains the 20,000 yen price tag. Quote
trueblueeyes Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 what the!?!! does that scafolding come with it?? Does anyone know the answer to this one? Gosh, I hope so! If it does, no way will I be able to resist this PG! If it doesn't, I may not get it since I am really running out of room. So, for me...the more gimmicky the better! Quote
Commander McBride Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 (edited) No, the scaffolding does not come with it. I can say with 95% certainty, that what you see there is a pretty nice, but still obvious, custom job on the 1/60 DXMSiA GP-01FB. Edited September 2, 2003 by Commander McBride Quote
fulcy Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I wonder how hard it would be to convert that bad boy to a GP04G... Quote
Californium Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 (edited) Meh... Gp01 is a really nice design. I don't like the FB version much though. (with the exception of the FB core fighter.) I'd probably build the standard version but with the FB core fighter if I got the thing. (so it could have those large thruster pods on its back.) But I'm not really interested in a PG of the GP01. Assuming they make a Physalis next, a PG Nu, if it ever happens, might now be four years away or more. How discouraging. Time to put myself in cryo for a while. edit: the scaffolding will indeed be included. Edited September 2, 2003 by Californium Quote
Abombz!! Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I wonder how hard it would be to convert that bad boy to a GP04G... Meh.... GP04 is too fat for my taste. Quote

GP04 is too fat for my taste. the GP04 is my favorite gundam design, and is my second favorite MS overall - right behind the Kampfer... Now, if Bandai would go and make a HY2M kampfer, I'd be set!
