dedalus001 Posted March 20, 2004 Posted March 20, 2004 after the "Rain of Death," do we assume that the only survivors were those aboard the Macross? i think i remember reading about other grand cannons in the macross compendium, and considering Misa's "unique" ability to become the sole survivor of Alaska base's, were there any other survivors int he other grand cannons that were in production? also, weren't there survivors of humanity on the moon at Apollo base? also, concerning the mass cloning following the war, i assume it was regulated by the UN, but were people cloned to condition the earth? or were they specifically cloned for further colonization/military escalation? i wonder if it was unregulated and/or discontinued at a certain time. this is quite a large post with quite a few questions.... go to it, then. IIRC, there were "pockets" of survivors. Kind of like how they say that if WWIII happened with all the missles in the arsenals in the 80s, that 99.997% of the surface population would have died... .003% would be 150,000 survivors, out of about 5billion people in the 80s, interestesting to think that there are between 6-7billion alive today. Skull Leader Posted March 20, 2004 Posted March 20, 2004 despite what it all says, I just don't buy it. there would have HAD to be more... if we say there were around 150,000 survivors, it would've taken cloning on a scale that beggars belief to repopulate the species. I don't think it was quite the WCS... 60%-70% seems more likely. Quote
