P.S. if you have trouble with the Back Ground Music skipping and chattering here is a simple fix...

To listen music properly, BEFORE LOAD GAME, you should follow this instructions:

"start" button, and go to "RUN..." and write: dxdiag

Press "Enter" . In this window, go to "Sound 1 o Sound"

In SOUND search the Hardware sound acceleration Level and displace to left in order to turn OFF/DISABLE or put in BASIC ACCELERATION:

Then, exit.

I'm using Win2000.

My Avast caught it.

Over the years, I have noticed that multiple Antivirus software is needed, because some things get past one AVS, while others get past another. My Norton's missed it completely.

BTW- it is attached to the "VOXP-es.exe" and the "VOXP-en.exe" files. The files that were copied from the original VO are clean.

Scratch what I said about Avast detecting a virus and just get Ver 1.1.

OK, now that I've gotten Hamatchi to work with Vista, how about some space fighter tactics discussion.

Is there a strat guide in English some where?

Are flares worth it vs rank S weapons?

How about an extra tank of fuel for dodging?

What is the ideal mix of missiles? VS SS Rank CPU opponents, I found that Micro Missiles and High Maneuver Missiles kill them really fast. Which is disappointing because some 2vs2 or 1vs1 matches can last more than 5 minutes.

I have downloaded the MACROSS VOXP - FAN EXTENSION Ver. 1.1 , but I can't open it! Soon after the Now Loading scene, the game just crashed, with a unreadable message before it closed the program. What happened?

YES! you should see the intro movie to the SDF MACROSS Game.

you might need the latest upgrades to windows Media Player.

Going to try Macross VO out again after many moons. I've seen that their are models out there for the YF-19 and possibly 21. Are they included in any of the mods listed above?

I am getting back into playing this game again, I have not played since I ordered it back when it came out years ago. I downloaded the DYRL Voxp mod which is great but I was wondering if anyone knew how to adjust the resolution settings, I would really enjoy widescreen if possible.

Well, for Max/Milia VF, you need to gain points for them. Usually, the points given at the beginning are far too low to purchase them, as they cost 10000+ points. After you sortie, go and kill some enemies to gain those points, and when the points exceeds 10000, returned to your mothership and switch to the VF.

As for Zent power armour, you can only access them only if you choose to play as Zent.
