StealthLurker Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 (edited) Here are some pics of about 10% of my toy collection. Unfortunately, most of my stuff can only exist in rental storage, closets inside the house/garage at least until I get a place for a nice toy display room. I collect everything from macross/robotech, godaikins, rangers, godzilla, transformers (jpn only), gundam, etc... basically anything that's a cool japanese toy in my opinion. Some collection pics Edited March 29, 2004 by StealthLurker Quote

vlenhoff Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 OMG! My face just turned red, and my head is on fire! That collection is SICK! ...which reminds me, I have to sell a bunch of stuff that I love, but I need room, and financial stability right now... Wow, you're one sick Puppy, and I take off my hat to you! FlyingPika appears to be pissed off for some reason. I don't get it. If someone wants to buy, and/or collect stuff, that's their problem/decision. FlyingPika, don't waste brain cells on stuff like that. You will not change someone by being unpolite to them. I know it is a LOT of money spent on a hobby, so what? It's ones money, and one does with ones money whatever one wants/likes. And that is just MY opinion. APU, I hate you! That's an awesome collection, but I don't know how do you administrate your living space. It's gotta be crazy in your house! Also, I don't know how can you resist not to take those transformers out of the boxes. Thanks for showing us pics guys! Vic! Quote
vanpang Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Thanks for showing us the pics APU. I have a friend who is also a TF fan. Wait till I show him the pics, he would definitely freak out. Just to add a little note in this thread, every one is entitled to give his opinion, observations, comments and ideas, that is why it is call a "forum". So if someone gives a criticism or "negative opinion", it is actually up to you to accept it or reject it (including ignoring it). No point taking it personally, it would just makes things sour. So guys chill out, after all, we are all macross fan. Quote
Chuey Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Simply draw dropping . Reminds why I need to get an actual home of my own and to watch my spending habits . Quote
FlyingPika Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 arg, well, i not pissed off about anything, it just seems like something is wrong. That child like innocence and apreciation for stuff so cool just seems missing to me. BTW: i wasnt impolite, has any1 ever heard the saying, "friends stab you in the front"? Quote

StealthLurker Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 ....I bet all the neighborhood kids including their parents drop by. With all those toys in the house I don't ever find it hard to believe you ever leave the house. LOL That is a helluva pad! Actually about 2 years or so ago during halloween, we opened the garage, turned on all the games, setup some black lights, laid out some dry ice and passed out candy on the driveway. Let the kids play a couple games and get some candy while they were at it. The neighborhood kids seemed to really enjoy it. Just to see the big smiles on the children's faces was a great feeling in itself. Quote

APU Posted March 31, 2004 Author Posted March 31, 2004 I really cant stand when they say that Michael Jackson has all those toys to lure in kids.....Please, if I had his money you would see the worlds largest toy collection..seriously!!!!! Quote
RichterX Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Toy companies inject this thing into the boxes of new toys that when you smell it makes you an addict and you start buying and buying... That is the real reason why some keep them in the box, to smell it not because of the collectors value, it is all in the smell Quote
