Capt Hungry Posted September 8, 2003 Posted September 8, 2003 I hope we'll be able to see the finished product sometime. Things were looking very cool. Quote
Mechafan Posted September 8, 2003 Posted September 8, 2003 It has been awhile since I have seen this. The Alpha looks great. I hope to see the completion of it soon. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 Any new updates on this yet? WE WANT PICS!!! Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted November 10, 2003 Author Posted November 10, 2003 We someone to contact MikeRB to see if there is any updates to his CG Film. Anyone know how to get hold of him? Scot Quote
CoryHolmes Posted November 10, 2003 Posted November 10, 2003 I'm told that a strangle hold around the neck and some zap-a-straps work wonderfully well Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted April 25, 2004 Author Posted April 25, 2004 Still no word from MikeRB But I am still hopeful he's working on the CG Movie still. Scot Quote
EXO Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 Oh well... old boards are down... it's a good thing I saved the pics... Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted April 26, 2004 Author Posted April 26, 2004 Thanks EXO. Have you heard from MikeRB Lately? He fell off the face of the planet. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 Oh, MAN! I'd forgotten just how much these pics/models ROCKED! These are the best CGI work I've ever seen for Robotech, even beating out the VF-1s produced on these boards. Still have pics of his Cyclones, Exo? Ah's neehds mahs fixes! Quote
EXO Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 I haven't heard anything since he posted on the new mass CG thread. I have most the pics he posted. I can't find the one where the cyclone is rolling. It kinda pisses me off that the best projects on MW are never completed. Not pissed at the talent, but just as luck would have it. At least we were lucky enough to see some of it... Quote
bsu legato Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 *wipes away a tear* Beautiful... MikeRB, where art thou? Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted May 3, 2004 Author Posted May 3, 2004 I think I found MikeRB on a CGI forum and I sent him an E-mail. We'll see if he reply's I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE!!! Quote
Phyrox Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 I sure hope so. I was pretty jazzed about his Sentinels CG work. It was top-notch, and there wasn't a VF-1 (for once). I'm crossing my fingers and hoping he resumes posting (and that whatever project had limited his time for this has since been completed). Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted May 4, 2004 Author Posted May 4, 2004 Bad News, The e-mail addresses I found returned undeliverable I hope Mike's all right. Quote
mechaninac Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 I can't find the one where the cyclone is rolling Thankfully, I saved it. here you go... Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted May 6, 2004 Author Posted May 6, 2004 Goto this link and you can download a video of some of his work. Control Cage I hope this will tide us for a while Quote
MikeRB Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Hey Guys. I've been pretty busy working on "Andromeda". I don't really know when I'll have time to get back to this. Mike Quote
GRAND CANNON Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 WOW!!! From what I've seen (thanks for the attached stuff, guys) I want MORE to look at!! Amazing work, MikeRB !!! Are there any locations to get all (or a good portion) of the RT CG stuff? (I only have so much of my fingernails left!! ) Quote
Phyrox Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Whoohoo! At least we know he is "back" even if he isn't actively working on this project. Anybody know what this "Andromeda" is, and how we can get it canceled? Quote
MikeRB Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 It's a TV show. And it's actually uncertain right now whether it will be renewed for another season. It's a good gig and I really hope it goes on for another season. Mike Quote
bsu legato Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Anybody know what this "Andromeda" is, and how we can get it canceled? Andromeda, aka "Gene Rodenberry's Andromeda" is a syndicated sci fi show starring that meat-puppet Kevin Sorbo. Nice SFX for a tv show, though. Which I assume is partially thanks to Mike's hard work, right? Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted May 6, 2004 Author Posted May 6, 2004 OK GUYS, It took alot of tracking, BUT I FOUND HIM Thanks Mike and I'm sorry if I was a little persistant in finding you. I found MikeRB on SPLOID and posted a message there and I found your Control Cage Demo and that's where I found your Yahoo E-mail. Nice work on all the things I saw on the demo. I liked the space battle scene. So is Andromeda the BIG SECRET you were talking about before on the original thread? Scot Quote
1st Border Red Devil Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 The Demo Reel is killer (I loved the fish sequences). Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 Mike, Any more news about your project or projects at Andromeda? Scot Quote
B-52 GUNNER Posted July 14, 2005 Author Posted July 14, 2005 Ok, the last time MikeRB posted about his CG Short was back on May 6, 2004. HOW ABOUT IT MIKE!!!! ANY UPDATES YET? Scot Quote
MikeRB Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 hey guys. I'm hoping I can come back to this at some point in the near future. Does anyone happen to have a nice horizont model, and maybe a finished cyclone/ride armor model? Mike Quote
promethuem5 Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 You're working on Andromeda!? Congrats man...it's a pretty good show and the CGI work is awesome. Quote
Phyrox Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 WHOO! Mike RB is back! Sorry, can't help much with the model references, but I can't wait to see the results of your getting back to this. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 (edited) Dammit, where is that drooling smiley when I really need it? Always looking forward to your amazing stuff, Mike. Baited breath and all. Edited October 24, 2005 by CoryHolmes Quote
