Chindenathus Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Addendum, adjust my request to ONE kit. The economic practicality of the toy makes buying multiple kits cost overkill in my book but by hell I do want one of the kit. Quote
flash Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 I'm sticking with my request for one! I can't wait! I'm doing it as much to have a variety, and to reward the people that went through to organize this, and then to do the work of recasting it. Quote
isamu_dyson Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 (edited) i CONFIRME the fact that i'm signin for 1 recast, with both hands I can send You 100 $ for confirmation (by western union) if you wish Edited April 23, 2004 by isamu_dyson Quote
Valkyrie Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Thanks a lot, Guys! Once again, my concerns are put to rest Quote
Jinnai Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 I don't think I'd get as much enjoyment out of stripping the Yamato toy, disassembling it, repainting and reassembling it. I'm definately sticking by my order. Quote
Chindenathus Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 I don't think I'd get as much enjoyment out of stripping the Yamato toy, disassembling it, repainting and reassembling it.I'm definately sticking by my order. Preach it on the mountain-ah! At least with the kit I can say I contributed to the "impossible". That and it can be any color or deco I wish. And we've all wanted one of these kits, just because it is a work of art plain and simple. Th \e new toy looks awesome but I'd like to have a clone of it's "daddy" with the MW logo on it and know that I have a piece of what we can do we try as a community to fulfill our desires. Once again thanks to all of you who worked so hard to make this project a reality, especially Valkyrie for working so hard. Quote
MC420 Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Hi Chris, Is it too late to order? If not, please put me down for one. Quote
ChristopherB Posted April 28, 2004 Author Posted April 28, 2004 MC420, Done. Thank you for your interest! Sincerely, Christopher Quote
RictorX8077 Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 Is it possible if someone could put a picture of the VB-6 Koenig Monster? This model sounds interesting and I wanted to see what it looked like. Quote
Neova Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 That picture re-affirms my orders with Valkyrie! Can't wait! It would look so cool next to my future Yamato Konig and GH's Monster. Heavy Weapons rock! Quote

It would look so cool next to my future Yamato Konig and GH's Monster.Heavy Weapons rock! You read my mind Neova! Although I may actually skip the Yamato Konig and just get this VB-6 re-cast and Gundamhead's Monster to display together. About time that the destroids got some love! Melissa Quote
g3173 Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 Hi Guys, Any updates on this project? Been gone for awhile and haven't heard much. Thanks, Gene Quote
ChristopherB Posted May 18, 2004 Author Posted May 18, 2004 (edited) Gene, I think that Ken was temporarily busy helping with a Star Trek project, and based upon the pictures I've seen, it came out very nice. I'm not sure what his plans are now, with regard to other simultaneous projects coincedent with the VB-6 recast. I would imagine that he has been steadily working on it, and is ready to make a pretty substantial progress annoucement at any time. Sincerely, Christopher Edited May 21, 2004 by ChristopherB Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Just remember guys... this is NOT an easy project. I imagine it will take several months. Now I doubt it will be "Tanmen time," but those molds will take a bunch of time to get right. Quote

ChristopherB Posted May 18, 2004 Author Posted May 18, 2004 (edited) LTSO, I don't think anyone mentioned we were in a hurry to see the project finished, as we would rather see it done right, as opposed to rushed. Sincerely, Christopher Edited May 21, 2004 by ChristopherB Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 I never said you couldn't be excited with it. I never suggested there was a problem with your questions. I also never said that you had been bothering Ken too much. All I wanted to do was make sure that you know what a super involved project this is. No harm no foul... even for the verbose ChristopherB (just kidding Chris!). Quote
Myersjessee Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 (edited) I'm in a hurry...I want my kit now! If the quality stinks...so be it! Ken, stop sleeping, eating, and generally trying to have any life. You are now our servent...get to work you slob! LOL...or take your time and do it right...I won't be building it right away anyways! Edited May 18, 2004 by Myersjessee Quote
ChristopherB Posted May 18, 2004 Author Posted May 18, 2004 LTSO, I know my friend, I'm just a little testy today. I think I overdosed on my Rogaine, so all of the testosterone is making me jumpy. Yeah, you hit the nail right on the head. I also like the term, "loquacious." Take it easy, Christopher Quote

ChristopherB Posted May 21, 2004 Author Posted May 21, 2004 Yeah, I can't be "Mister Nice Guy" all of the time. I think it has something to do with a full moon. Quote
g3173 Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 Hey Guys! I hope I wasn't coming off pushy I've been out for awhile and just wanted to see how the project was coming along. I would much rather have Ken work on this project and take his time so that he can produce an awesome kit... Work, babies, and other hobbies have been keeping me away from MW so I just wanted to get the scoop Chris chill on the rogaine (j/p) Regards, Gene Quote
ChristopherB Posted May 30, 2004 Author Posted May 30, 2004 Chris chill on the rogaine (j/p)Regards, Gene Gene, Yeah, you got a deal my friend. Just do me a favor and cut back on the Viagra. Actually, the Rogaine thing is funny, because I still have a full head of hair at age (29), and hopefully I'll keep it, God willing. Sincerely, Christopher Quote
Myersjessee Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 So...have the next batch of parts made it off to our caster? Any other cool news on boxart, decals, and such? THANKS! Quote
ChristopherB Posted August 6, 2004 Author Posted August 6, 2004 Hello, I've gotten a few PM's from people inquiring about status, and to preclude further questions, I personally have no new news to report. It's been about (4) months since the last update from Valkyrie, so I would expect that we'll hear something soon hopefully. It would be cool if Ken could get his recast completed prior to Yamato's toy, especially considering the head start we have. Sincerely, Christopher Quote
Valkyrie Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Sorry guys.... It's coming along, just not as quickly as any of us would like I've got a good deal of progress to progress to show off though. I'll try to put together an update and get it up tomorrow. And yes, I most definitely want to have it finished before the Yamato release. Too bad they haven't anounced a release date yet Quote

mooseydoom Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Hey, can I still order a monster? I PMed ChristopherB a couple days ago. Thanks Quote
ChristopherB Posted August 18, 2004 Author Posted August 18, 2004 Sorry, I'm out of town on business, so my response time is degraded. I'll update the list right away, and thank you for your interest! Quote
ChristopherB Posted August 26, 2004 Author Posted August 26, 2004 Rob, Consider it done. Please respond to my last PM when you get time. Your busy "week and a half" at work has passed I believe. Sincerely, Christopher Quote
