UN Spacy Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Some of these pics give an insight as to how Anakin Skywalker turned into the evil Sith Lord (no....not our very own Sith Lords of MW) Darth Vader. Just to warn you. I know some MW'ers hate SPOILERS so do NOT go any farther (if you don't wanna ruin it). . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Quote

EXO Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 methinks Bsu already posted the second one and revealed it as a photochop. Quote
UN Spacy Posted March 11, 2004 Author Posted March 11, 2004 Cover of the new Star Wars Insider. A new Sith? Maybe someone from the Droid Army? Quote
UN Spacy Posted March 11, 2004 Author Posted March 11, 2004 Conceptual art (by Ralph McQuarrie?). Quote
bsu legato Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 The only one I of these pic I haven't seen before is the first one. Where'd you dig that one up, UN Spacy? Oh yeah, the painting of Vader on the operating table was by Ryan Church. Quote

the white drew carey Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Sometimes the first thing I think when I see a picture isn't always the most appropriate. Quote
Agent ONE Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Agent ONE Posted: Mar 9 2004, 02:27 PM Â No Schwarzenegger = Not a good movie Movie review has never been easier. So true... Thank you for reminding me. This will be nothing but a movie with little girly-men with toothpick arms hitting each other with glowing sticks... Quote
xstoys Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Oh yeah, the painting of Vader on the operating table was by Ryan Church. Ryan Church & I were classmates back at Art Center, & now we're both faculty at Art Center. Funny how things turn out... Quote
Blaine23 Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 The other thread was better... for one simple reason. Wookie Boat! Quote
Noriko Takaya Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 (edited) I'd swear that if I didn't know any better, that mechanical arm belongs to a certain T-800... Edited March 12, 2004 by Noriko Takaya Quote
CaptRico Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 I'd swear that if I didn't know any better, that mechanical arm belongs to a certain T-800... D*nm 0_0 Well, at least we get to see how this happens to Skywalker... Quote
Hikuro Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Second picture looks so fake...yet the first one doesn't look to fake...but sorta does you know? To much shadow...uhhh, not to mention the second one looks fake cause wasn't it ani's left arm he lost first? So shouldn't his left arm be mechanical while his right arm is burnt to nothing? I don't know.... Quote
bsu legato Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 I'd swear that if I didn't know any better, that mechanical arm belongs to a certain T-800... That's because it is. As we'd discussed the last time that picture was posted, its a photochop. It's only "real" from the shoulders up. And it was indeed the right arm that Anakin lost, although it was from above the elbow. Quote
Anubis Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Cover of the new Star Wars Insider. A new Sith? Maybe someone from the Droid Army? That's the separatist android General that Obi-Wan is chasing and has to eventually fight. His arms apparantly split and has multiple lightsabers or some other weapon built in. Quote
Duke Togo Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 I believe the first one was long ago debunked as photoshop fan art, however, the burned headshot is indeed real. Quote
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 awesome sees gruesome which is cool. to tide us over check out my new darth maul painting. It was practice digital painting in photshop the only tool used was the brush tool. Quote
azrael Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 The 2nd Anakin pic is also photoshop as well. But think of it as concept art. It might as well be a good representation of what Anakin is suppose to look like at the end, before the armor. Quote

Aside from the hand/arm, its been confirmed as real. Makeup tests. Quote
