Southcross Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I should mention that I have been having "router issues" that might cause some problems, but otherwise it seems to be working ok. Quote
Pat S Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I didn't see the difference except that the new one is much quieter Anyone want to host the following Soundtracks?... Southern Cross 1 and 2 Mospeada 1 and 2 Orguss I'll try to setup an FTP server tonight. Quote

Southern Cross 1 and 2 Mospeada 1 and 2 Orguss I'll try to setup an FTP server tonight. I think I'm gonna go pick up a new router tomorrow, if that solves my "issues" I'll gladly host the files (just so I can have copies of them ) My server has 1.4GB available (and I probably could make more room if needed) Quote
dna Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Southcross - I tried it both ways. PatS - you gotta PM Quote
Pat S Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Uploading these now. They are in 96kbps (except for Orguss which is 128), but sound great anyways. Quote
dna Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I've pulled the Mospeada and am working on Orguss now. Since the bits aren't too high, the file size isn't too bad to pull down the pipe (unless you're on dial up and then everything sucks ) I'll have to work on a real page if I'm gonna have this many downloads... Quote
dna Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I will say this though: why don't you people freakin zip your files up before you upload them??? sheesh! Quote
newca Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I don't know PLUS very much, hope this help download Voice Quote
TheLoneWolf Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Since this file was made in 1997, could any tell me the original media used? Was it from the VHS or laserdisc? Also, what bitrate is it at? Quote
SkullLeaderVF-X Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 mplus -voices-dub.mp3 Southcross - I can't make it go for me. It might be better if you zipped it up instead of leaving it a .mp3 file. you tried a "right click" and selecting "save target as.."? Do you still want me to send it southerncross???Since dna already uploaded to his server so you can load it?? Quote
LiQuiD[EViL] Posted March 11, 2004 Author Posted March 11, 2004 Hotness. Thanks SkullLeaderVF-X, Pat S, Southcross, and dna Quote
Southcross Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 my Router is really messed, now it won't let me log into it. grrrrr I'm gonna have to pick up a new one soon Quote
Southcross Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 OK I picked up a new router... 49.99... not bad... was initially a byatch to setup (out of the box set up for a newbie network, not for an established complex network) seems to be working great, please give it a try now. Quote

dna Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I was busy killing last night, so I didn't get a chnce to zip and reupload the files and make a page for them. Rest assured it will happen tonight Quote

Now to find out how I can get a domain link like iMacross69.myftp.com or something (for free ) Quote
dna Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Ai... Got them uploaded, but I've borked something for Mozilla users - opens the rar file like a text(?). Does Netscape not like .rars? Works fine in IE, so most people should be able to get it... But I'm tired and not going to mess with it any more tonight. It's making me mad though... Quote
dna Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 ANYWAY, for you IE users, go ahead and grab them. Bit rate is kinda low, but they do sound good. Quote

It's making me mad though... its the whole "right click and "Save target as..."" BS.. its not you DNA (probably your webserver not set up for that file type)... I learned a long time ago use the right click... it makes issues like that 99% non-existant. besides Netscrape... well... IMO... sucks... their reliablity and "technology" never seem to keep up with the times. Now admitidly I have not used Netscape in probably several years now. I unfortunatly got sucked in to the Microsloth blackhole... but what can I say IE works (most of the time) Quote
dna Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 No, it's somewhere in my stupid code - I've got other pages where I can download .rar files and they work fine... Quote
Southcross Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 dna, I copied those .rar files to my FTP server. awesome PatS, thanks for sharing them with us... follow the FTP link at the bottom of my sig to get to my FTP server. Quote
