buddhafabio Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 (edited) Wow you are from okinawa. I lived there when my father , who was in the air force, was stationed there from 1988-1992. I really loved that place. I wish I could go back. When I lived there I had lived on Camp Courtney. Even tough my dad was air force. I was 13 years old when I left I miss every thing about it. Neova Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 If your a Macross fan, how come your site's title is Robotech? Was Robotech also aired in Japanese television or did you specifically like the Americanized version of Macross? It was just interesting to see that. I almost got into a debate with Toy-Wave over which came first, Macross or Robotech. And both of us now live in HK. hehe Quote
J A Dare Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 Strange, a Japanese person who like Robotech over Macross? Are there many Robotech fans in Japan??? Quote
Roy Focker Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 Beware of the power of Robotech it can cross over all the oceans and all of the land. Still it's another female and member from Japan. Both we tend to lack. I guess I.D. pictures are the same quality no matter where you take them. Quote
yui1107 Posted March 4, 2004 Author Posted March 4, 2004 IN okinawa , orijinal japanese version macross, orguss , southerncross has broadcasted in 1982-1984. And OKINAWA pwople can watch AMERICAN FORCE TV(AFTV) has channel 6 in ENGLISH. Thus, People in OKINAWA can watch also ROBOTECH, AMERICAN edited version MACROSS etc. show in AFTV. This is reason why, I knew BOTH version MACROSS & ROBOTECH by bilingual broadcasting system in OKINAWA area in JAPAN. This area has orijinal culture ( orijinally , language , culture is difer from JAPAN,) and , USA military lived in OKINAWA. WE can watch both MACROSS and ROBOTECH in OKNAWA okay so that reason....
