mech9T8 Posted March 1, 2004 Author Posted March 1, 2004 There was a store he mentioned that had the proper sized trailer. It was like $30 or something. It needed a few mods but it looked great. I need to find that link. Quote
Eternal_D Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 I do believe it was Walmart...I think he also mentioned finding them at local hobby shops. it was mr sci-fi that made the trailer. might try PMing him. Quote

Solscud007 Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 Hey I thought the Alternators are 1/24 and if Optimus is to scale to the Alternator line shouldnt the trailer be 1/24? Quote
EXO Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 Hey I thought the Alternators are 1/24 and if Optimus is to scale to the Alternator line shouldnt the trailer be 1/24? No, Optimus is his own scale and it isn't mentioned on the box. But he's not scaled with the BTs. Quote
mech9T8 Posted March 2, 2004 Author Posted March 2, 2004 That's it! Thanks guys. So Prime is 1/32 scale...good to know. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 (edited) Actually, he's not. His wheels are undersized for his scale, and the "real" Prime should have a 45-foot trailer. However, most all modern trailers (and toys/models thereof) are 48 or 53 footers. Combined with needing smaller wheels to match Prime, 1/32 is "undersized" but ends up looking right. My guess is Prime's 1/28. Edited March 2, 2004 by David Hingtgen Quote

Godzilla Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Just a question, did anybody pick up the slack in making a real trailer for the MP Optimus Prime? Quote
Renato Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I think it is mentioned somewhere in the instruction booklet of MP Convoy that he IS in fact in scale with the Alt/Bins. I'll have to check again. I suppose the reason they don't advertise it so on the box is that Prime doesn't actually look like a real life truck as much as the BTs look like real-world vehicles. Quote
