DrClay Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 I know you can customize like.... like... someone who is very good at customizing, but are you planning to make such a thing? Quote
柿崎速雄 Posted March 1, 2004 Author Posted March 1, 2004 I know you can customize like.... like... someone who is very good at customizing, but are you planning to make such a thing? YES~! BUT only if YAMATO firmly not release this product Quote
DrClay Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 I do believe you would become the god of customs if you were to do such a thing... Quote

UN Spacy Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Now THIS is something I don't think I've ever seen on da MW Forums. An animated gif that previews your scratch built GBP 1:48 Armor. As Darth Vader would say, "Impressive. Most impressive." Quote
Neova Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 (edited) Use these as your guide. Its the best custom kit bashed GBP for Hasegawa's beautiful Battroids so far. There is another in Hobby Japan but this one has more detail. MW Degenki Hobby Magazine section... Nov 2002 Issue Edited March 1, 2004 by Neova Quote
柿崎速雄 Posted March 1, 2004 Author Posted March 1, 2004 THX NEOVA, I've also got this but I think the base 1/48 VF-1 can't make the proportion much beautiful as HASEGWA one..... while considering the transformation factor Quote
buddhafabio Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 uuunnnggghhhaahhhh gooing into ceasures make it stop, oh yeah the back button Quote
the white drew carey Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Helpful hint- The GBP armor realistically doesn't work with the nose of the VF. Remove the nosecone on the 1/48 BEFORE creating and mounting GBP armor. Quote
tom64ss Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Check out this page for reference. http://f11.aaacafe.ne.jp/~gazouup/gbp.html and his site of 1/48 customs: http://f11.aaacafe.ne.jp/~gazouup/vf-1.html I can't read any of it, but it sure looks purty. Quote

FlyingPika Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 i would remove the nose cone so the groin armour ? doesn't hang so low Quote
EXO Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 The "groin armor" hanging so low would also limit poseability. Nice drawing! I feel like Max is flashing me... Quote

I've seen that before, looks like he is trying to adapt a set of 1/55 Chunky Monkey GBP armor. That stuff was hideously inaccurate, so I hope not.... Quote

JValk Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 What's so offensive about that defense? I guess they meant that the best offense is a good defense =p Quote
Graham Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 I do believe you would become the god of customs if you were to do such a thing... the posibility is -- 0.2% You should modify your picture by removing the nosecone and shortening the length of the groin armor. the armor would look much better that way. Graham I think that before, but although the form is more look's good, I don't like it become not " perfect".... if there must detach something to put on the armor Quote
Jawjaw Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 You should modify your picture by removing the nosecone and shortening the length of the groin armor. I don't know, Graham, you can never have enough "groin armor". Am I right? Quote

I don't know, Graham, you can never have enough "groin armor". Am I right? If the armour there is too thick it may be cumbersome, when the time comes, that demands the need to get it off... Quote

Graham Is this a possible hint about how the real 1/48 GBP armor will be when yamato makes it? Heck, I wouldn't be suprised if Yamato had the nose cone removable with the GBP in mind from the start, and just used the RADAR to justify it early on. =x Quote
