APU
Anybody own him?
GobotFool
I do. He is nice, but expensive. Watch out for the paint on the smaller lieger treads and the gold on great moth's chest.
drifand
Impressively proportioned and engineered, but falls short on the poorly designed optional head connector (too loose). Considered by many to be overpriced at $200-250. But as some well-heeled folks on this board like to say: If you like it you'll pay the price (Huh)! At least you get some quality metal in this beast that weighs 1.1kg out of the box. Check out my TBDX Rumble from long ago.
GobotFool
One of the nice things about the Dan is you get, 3 triple changing robots (4 if you count the complex origami required to make the dancougar's head as a transformation), gattai action, and a high level of detail, all in the largest SOC to date. Does anyone know how large Zambot will be? Edited February 29, 2004 by GobotFool
Eternal_D
I like it just because it looks awesome in super combined robot mode...do I even know what the dancougar is all about...not really...but then again, with a toy that cool, who needs to know. BoBe-Patt
Iv had him MISB since he came out, I want to know if I should open him or not. I say open him up because you won't enjoy the full beauty of this toy if it's kept MISB. So open it!! I'm still trying to save up for this toy as it is one hella expensive toy. It's also hard to save up for this guy when the q-rau just came out and the 1/48 Hikaru 1S and other stuff as well. Soon it will be mine!! drifand
Only on very rare occasions do I leave a toy unopened - and that's only if I'd bought an extra to keep. You've got to ask yourself WHY you even bought the SOC Dan if you didn't intend to take it out of the box. "Investment"?

Sebastian
I have it and LOVE it. It is a beautifull piece of ingeneering. In fact is quite hard to beleive a company invested so much time money and brain to produce a TOY. I am glad I paid the HK 1600. Yep, expensive but it worth every penny. Sebastian
Iv had him MISB since he came out, I want to know if I should open him or not. Ho! What a waste. You should sell it to somebody who can appreciate the beauty of this toy. What a shame to have it only for "investment".

joke-machine
I like it just because it looks awesome in super combined robot mode...do I even know what the dancougar is all about...not really...but then again, with a toy that cool, who needs to know. Its your basic super heros piloting super rbots that combine into a giant Robot to save the earth anime. Think Voltron-esque. I saw the series a few years back and, well how to put this nicely, was less than impressed overall. Great toy you have there, crappy anime.
