misterryno Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Something else........................LOL I used a Sakura Pigma Micron 02 0.30mm Black I just realized that I did not write pen. It's a pen/marker.
sqidd Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Something else........................LOL I used a Sakura Pigma Micron 02 0.30mm Black Do you use a “Mark and wipe” technique with that pen/marker or is the pen/marker so fine that it doesn’t leave any excess on the panels? I did a little panel lining last week with a mechanical pencil for the first time but it doesn’t have the quality of definition that yours has. Thanks
Dante74 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Using a Sakura pen gives you quite thick panel lines that look great in pics, but just a little too thick in real life. I know from experience.

Thanks The only time that I needed to wipe was when I goofed and went outside the lines. It was a real pain when I did that...but I was just too excited at times. Otherwise...even the thickness of this pen was just great.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Hence why i first tried it on one of my Arii models. lol Scary.
misterryno Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Hence why i first tried it on one of my Arii models. lol Scary. True that mate...I was a little apprehensive at first, but then I just said, "f**k it...if I'm gonna screw up....I'm gonna screw up...it could happen even if I was a pro". Then after that first line was done there was no turning back.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 haha yeah, well i tried my model with a proper Gundam Marker (used for panel lining exclusively) and i stuffed it up. lol Maybe i expect too much, and need to try with a lighter tone. But seriously your's looks great.

Chet Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Yeah...For some reason...I can't quite understand...the brown is actually VERY attractive under the blue and red. Remember, FASA even "borrowed" it for their Crusader heavy battlemech.
misterryno Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Here's a pose with the new recast hands I received from DyNo THANKS

I was not sure what would happen. Is it too small? Cause it looks normal to me. I need to learn the resizing tools.

This isn't really a cool pose or anything...but I have not taken the time to try to figure out if I can really pose this guy with all this awesomely bulky armor on yet.
