jenius
Picture too big... must be shrunk... page takes too long to view... If you don't have software to shrink then maybe you have software that will simply let you crop out the four inches on the right where nothin's going on? kensei
Hahaha! That's a good one. 424701 Making posts just for the sake of communicating to others how annoying quoting images are is not the best way to go about it. You crack down on others that do that, yet I've never had a problem with it until you started it yourself.

Ignacio Ocamica
And more!!! Please Yamato, give this toy the 1/60 treatment. I won't complain if you give the YF-21 the same treatment
drifand
Yes, the VF-11 is a pretty fun toy as long as the hips don't break... I shot this one years ago before I could bother to clip out the heat shield... I think I'll drag out the ol' Canon G2 this weekend and show you guys just why I love the 1/60 Battroids so much. :-)

ghostryder
Nice. How's the paint holding up on that custom VF-1J? Which one ? The CF 1J is doing fine. The SS has some paint chips on the arms I'd rather not talk about .

What you guys think?- Jin 425245 My fave pose with my Hikaru is with the strike cannon lowered, gunpod raised, and head lasers pointed forward. - basically as close to the end of DYRL as you can get when Bedolza gets waxed. jenius
Nice mods to that chunky. I'll have to post some unmodded chunky pics in the coolest poses I could manage when I have a chance.
drifand
The 1/60 VF-1 series had lots of problems, but most were ironed out by the time the 1Js were released. These were the only ones I bought because of my love for the 1J's head design. All have been modified to some extent, especially the shoulder polycaps and elbow clearance... And when I shoot my toys, the POSE is probably the biggest part of the fun! Here are some Gerwalk poses that I feel can rival the 1/48s any day, even with their more limited joints: And there are shots the 1/48s can never be a part of... drifand
As for the new 1/60 YF-19... I sure hope it (and the inevitable YF-21) can pull off poses at least as good as these old clods: (The pilot figure is a 1/60 Orguss accessory)

GutsAndCasca
Love the Hikaru rodeo-take down! Those are some great looking 1/60's. As for posing chunky monkeys -I just don't think there's any conceivable way to make those look cool. Call me an elitist if you will. I still LIKE the monkeys... drifand
Thanks guys! Glad you like 'em. Wanna guess what's my lighting rig? It's just one row of 'down lights' in my dining room ceiling. The REAL trick is to shoot with a tripod... totally eliminates the need for flash and lets you pick the most dramatic angles. Try it and see. :-)
