Wicked Ace Posted April 6, 2008 Author Posted April 6, 2008 (edited) Attempting to pose this thing reminds me of the reason I put it back in its box in the first place. Edited April 6, 2008 by Wicked Ace
Wicked Ace Posted April 6, 2008 Author Posted April 6, 2008 Yamato's display stand helps with stability. Hopefully, the soon-to-be-released 1/60 scale version can do much more.
Mr March Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 found something to do with all those broken arms: I vote this as one of Macross World's all time classic pictures. Bloody brilliant!

Well WA.....I wanna say "nice job!" but I'm gonna say...."damn that 1/72 sucks at posing". Sorry man but that just ticks me off that the posability on that figure is crappy. THANKS for sharing regardless.
nightmareB4macross Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Cobra pose! Nice, um, GI Joes/Cobras? Stick to subject.

As flawed as this one is, it's still one of my favorites. Yamato needs to make one properly. LOL @ BoB! As much as I dislike my Yamato 1/72 scale YF-21, I haven't had the urge to pee on it. Beware of Blast Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 LOL @ BoB! As much as I dislike my Yamato 1/72 scale YF-21, I haven't had the urge to pee on it. That's because you're a genuinely good guy.
hal9000 Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Messing around this weekend with my 0A that has a broken arm, and just got my first gundam stand. Besides that I like the flying Gerwalk. kudose on all the other pics I'll have more later. Its panel lined with a 3mm pencil.

Yamato needs to make one properly. I've been having the urge lately to purchase one of those myself....but I will resist. Although you are correct....it does seem to be much more fun than a 1/72 YF-21.
misterryno Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Beware of Blast, It's like a small child....you just need to lift him up and hold him in front of the bowl.
dizman Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 You kids and your crooked gunpods (or is it cancerpod) .
Beware of Blast Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Beware of Blast, It's like a small child....you just need to lift him up and hold him in front of the bowl. Sigh! It's not that simple.

VFTF1 Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Well, I see that this thread remains a veritable oasis of culture and refinement VFTF1
Mr March Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Well, I see that this thread remains a veritable oasis of deculture and refinement VFTF1 Fixed
misterryno Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Fixed I thought about it but you got to it first.
Wicked Ace Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 Thankfully, my first release VF-0 shoulders are holding up after a few transformations and general fiddling. Perhaps I should be more kind.
Wicked Ace Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 Perhaps this is better for the shoulders.
misterryno Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Wicked Ace, You never fail. I'm ALWAYS impressed. AWESOME PICS!!!
VFTF1 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Vf-0 A pill poping wino who new. tongue.gif It's like Britney Spears - she shaved her head, he got a custom paint job, she started taking drugs, he started drinking wine. Still beats Crap-In-Yer-Bear Hikaru VFTF1
misterryno Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Still beats Crap-In-Yer-Bear Hikaru VFTF1 I don't know about that. That pooping in the can (actually opening a can) Hikaru is my personal fav. so far.
hal9000 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Lets try a Gerwalk pose low viz 2 love. I'm sill not a good camera man.
misterryno Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Lets try a Gerwalk pose low viz 2 love. I'm sill not a good camera man. I rarely like the Gerwalk...but nice pic mate!
hal9000 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Thanks, I love the low viz 2 its like the vf1 was in Vietnam with f4s and f105s. Now all i need is napalm tanks and dumb bombs.
VFTF1 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I too love the Low Vis 2 - one of my favorite VF1s! But I rather think of these hunting or just dealing with stray Zendradi in the Amazon jungles VFTF1
ruskiiVFaussie Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Lets try a Gerwalk pose low viz 2 love. I'm sill not a good camera man. Dude that's an awesome photo and POSE! 10 out of bloody 10 for you! Thanks for posting. (great diorama too btw)
physioguy Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Sorry, I know this is a bit late this year since Easter came so early... but here's a blasphemous "Happy Easter" from my custom Stealth 1J and his cyborg bunny (Briareos)

(great diorama too btw) Thanks, I snaped like 20 or 30 to get that plus a small amount of photoshope clean up. Also that is not a diorama it's one of my fish tanks, made for a grate backdrop. I'm going to shot some more this weekend with other valks.
