Valkyrie addict Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Did you use a forced perspective to make the VF-0 and the armored 0 the same size? Looks great. Make me want armor for the Zero! hehe, thanks, forced perfective indeed, not as simple as I first thought it would be...

drifand Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Kicker, you need to 'open' the chest intakes sideways on the 1/3000 SDF-1... otherwise the proportions are too straight-up-straight-down. :-)
Kicker773 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 (edited) Sure, show us the merchandise! Done its on pg 23 of the collection post. Also thanks Drifand, i didnt even know you could do that. I'll try that in a few mins =) Edited February 24, 2007 by Kicker773
Mr March Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Fantastic work MasterOfPuppets. That's one of the best 1/48 shots I've ever seen. Excellent use of articulation with good angles and good lighting. This helps to show what the 1/48 can do for posability. I love it!
peter Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Yep, that's one of the coolest pics on this thread. Simple, but somehow very cool.
Warmaker Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I'm trying to hunt down 1/48 Max & Millia -1J's I swear, I hope Yamato reissues these. Sometime soon.
Kicker773 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Not a Valk but I just couldn't resist.... [attachmentid=40633] he just wants to be like hikaru
jenius Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Who you messin' with esse'? Don't you know I'm loco?
Mog Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Shouldn't Max's gun be pointed towards his hand? Damn "animation errors" are getting into our posing pics now!
jenius Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 (edited) Actually, it makes more sense pointed upward. You would grab it with your other arm. It's also pointing upward on all the examples on the box and if it had a strap it would dangle upward also. So, beyond that, I guess it's all a matter of taste. I guess another question is, why is my Max left-handed? That's just for the sake of the pic . Edited March 8, 2007 by jenius

I think the post was in reference to the scene in DYRL where max has his gunpod mounted in the opposite direction and he shoots the zentran pilot as he pulls him out of the pod.

Whoa, that sounds intense, but I don't recall it. Once all this moving mumbo jumbo is over I'm gonna have to bust out DYRL... I swear it gets cooler every time.
Warmaker Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 (edited) It was close to the beginning of DYRL?. He even does this sort of "Vulcan Death Grip" on the Zentradi pilot with nice results. The scene was fairly quick, maybe 3 seconds at the most. It just shows off how bad*** Max was, that's all Edited March 8, 2007 by Warmaker
IAD Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) YF-19, looking "cool". ~Luke Edited March 11, 2007 by IAD
Warmaker Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 It's amazing how far Valk toys have gone since the old 1/55 Takas.
