wolfx Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 May I ask, how did you repositioned the arms of the pilots? I wanna reposition mine as well. Kinda snapped one arm off the dodgy glue job....but I can't figure how'd you reposition it without recasting a new one... the pilot arms are have different between kakizaki and MAX kakizaki I just cut off his both arms than split the right arm into 3 parts and change the angle (need make some operation) and join it again but the max one ... because I lose his right arm, so I recast it by using " blu-tack" if I do this job again, I will take some photo for you Thanks mate. Recast with blue tack? Uhhhhhh....sounds dodgy yet interesting. I'll have to see what you mean by that. hehehee. Quote
柿崎速雄 Posted February 26, 2004 Author Posted February 26, 2004 (edited) maybe I using wrong word, not recast, is scratchbulid by using blu-tack add some "AA" super glue on the surface, then the form will be fix, can easy to paint on it Edited February 26, 2004 by 柿崎速雄 Quote
mechaninac Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 (edited) A little off topic, but since thE last few repplies mentioned the pilots....Is anyone doing recasts of the Low Vis pilot, the new DYRL sculpt of the Hikaru 1S, and the TV pilot from the 1J? Frankly, the original DYRL pilot's sculpt suck ass; I'd love to get a hold of the new ones...without having to buy a whole new VF-1. Edited February 27, 2004 by mechaninac Quote
