Sumdumgai Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Hey, notice the new saint seiya has a wrist joint(s)... interesting.I am actually excited for this new seiya now... You've got sharp eyes! I didn't notice that! That's cool, but jeez it's gonna be hard to get the hands changed on Seiya with one more joint to worry about turning when you're putting new hands on him!
Sumdumgai Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! This was posted on the Whitezeta forums today!!!! WOOHOO!! MU LOOKS AWESOME!!! And Deathmask looks pretty good too!
zeo-mare Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 more great seiyas are coming out damn i can afford any of them yet with all of the other stuff i have been purchasing or need to pick up

Eternal_D Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 April and June...not too far off. looks like this line will be going on for a while. I'm glad these are popular enough to get them to do this. Let's just hope it keeps going with Poseidon and Asgard.
isamu_dyson Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 recent reports from japan told that rhadamanthis's stocks had not last more than 1 or 2 days ... Bandai have been forced to boost the production. Here in france it's a hit, and bandai france is about to release the all MC serie. (we are waiting for the planning).
Akilae Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 recent reports from japan told that rhadamanthis's stocks had not last more than 1 or 2 days ... Bandai have been forced to boost the production. Here in france it's a hit, and bandai france is about to release the all MC serie. (we are waiting for the planning). Really? That's interesting... over here in Taiwan the local dept. store has one shelf devoted to the rhadamanthis, and they're just sitting there... along with the virgos and Aquarius' they got that apparently nobody's interested in. All those saint cloths, gathering dust, mm.... Guess I'll get my wish of collecting all 12 gold saints without having to fight over them, yay!
Akilae Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Just to derail this thread a tad, since we seem to have a pretty hardcore gathering of Seiya fans here... anybody got a decent sized pic of the opening crawl for Hades Chapter? The one where the screen scrolls sideways past all 12 gold saints?
isamu_dyson Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 in french : Sortie mouvementée de Radamanthys au Japon! (29-01-2005) Depuis 1988, on avait jamais vu ça! Vive Saint Seiya!!!! Emeric
shinohara Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 WOW CANCER looks sweet.... but Aries Mu is different than the anime.... isn't the big horn suppose to be pointing slightly upward? Just got myself Radhamantis ... AWESOME

WOW  CANCER looks sweet.... but Aries Mu is different than the anime.... isn't the big horn suppose to be pointing slightly upward? This is just a prototype we'll see that on the first "real" pictures Edited February 7, 2005 by isamu_dyson
shinohara Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 (edited) Hmm i really hope they make some revision though because Aries Mu is one of my favourite saint..i'd like him to be as close to the anime as possible Other rumour stated, next myth cloth after aries Mu will be the dragon final cloth but I hope yours will be the right one coz' i like gold saints better than bronze saint but come on Bandai, don't be shy.... release them all...i'l buy them Edited February 7, 2005 by shinohara

eyesonme78 Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 well cos i can read a bit of the japanese text, similar to chinese though.
Eternal_D Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 just a rumor but it seems that scorpio and taurus will be the next .WOW  CANCER looks sweet.... but Aries Mu is different than the anime.... isn't the big horn suppose to be pointing slightly upward? This is just a prototype we'll see that on the first "real" pictures dammit why can't they make the one gold saint EVERYBODY wants?? Gemini!! ok ok, only I REALLY REALLY want that one but hey, he's a pretty big player the the sanctuary...so what's up??
shinohara Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 I am pretty sure that Aries Mu will be released on May Jan - Radhamantis Feb - Libra Mar - Pegasus final Apr - Cancer May - Aries Jun -Dragon final / scopio/ taurus ??? still rumours though I think it should be this acording to the jap text it says : April-> cancer June -> Aries Hmmm it means they won't release anything on May then
isamu_dyson Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 according to HLJ and yesasia mu will be release on june
Sumdumgai Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 dammit why can't they make the one gold saint EVERYBODY wants?? Gemini!! ok ok, only I REALLY REALLY want that one but hey, he's a pretty big player the the sanctuary...so what's up?? Because if they make it now, sales will drop for the others, since everyone's buying up the gold saints in anticipation of Gemini. It's like you're hungry and you're waiting for your favorite dish, but there's a bunch of snacks laying around so you start munching. Little do you know, those snacks you're munching put money in the pocket of the cook. No wait, I'm the one that's really hungry and thinking of food... Forget the example! Plus think of it this way. They've made a lot of improvements as they go along with the line. The New Seiya has an updated body. They've been gaining experience and are getting better at their work. You compare the old Shiryu head with the one that comes with Doko, big improvements. Myth Cloth Seiya vs Myth Cloth Seiya armor 3, worlds of difference in the sculpts of the face and stuff. Saga's going to be the culmination of all the experience the sculptors have had up until then. Saga's going to be really NIIIIiiiiiiiiiiceeeeeeeee~ I want Surplice versions of the Saints. especially Surplice Shura and Surplice Shion. KEEP AWAY STEEL SAINTS!!!! NO ONE LIKES YOU!!!
Eternal_D Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 KEEP AWAY STEEL SAINTS!!!! NO ONE LIKES YOU!!! HAHA, I hear that! well as far as your example goes...it makes sense. but I have one thing to say...Shura's eyes!! they're freakin retarded! I just hope they don't mess up Gemini...but I don't want to expect perfection either...more likely I will get disappointed.
Sumdumgai Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 HAHA, I hear that!well as far as your example goes...it makes sense. but I have one thing to say...Shura's eyes!! they're freakin retarded! I just hope they don't mess up Gemini...but I don't want to expect perfection either...more likely I will get disappointed. Erg, I know what you mean. My theory is that someone at Bandai didn't like Shura and screwed the eyes for the production version. I mean, the prototype pics looked great, eyes and everything! I don't want to expect a lot, but I will.
Eternal_D Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 anybody know if there are color side by side shots of the hades gold saints with their normal gold clothes? I'm dieing to do attempt a custom on them, but I need better pictures than my HK release hades figs.
Sumdumgai Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 (edited) Here's a scan I did from my box set of the Hades arc... The plastic thing that normally holds the dvd came off so I could scan it. You're in luck. Here's surplice Capricorn Shura. Differences you may not. Each shoulder piece has two smaller horns sticking out by the large one. Different markings on his chest, helmet, and waist armor. And like all the surplice armor, his is much more pointy and jagged. edit: If you have the saint cloth myth versions of Shura and Camus you can compare the anime images of them in the instruction books to the pics I just supplied. Good luck! Let us know how the customs turn out! Edited February 14, 2005 by Sumdumgai
Sumdumgai Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 I scanned the dvd itself for the image of Camus and Shion (not that there's a Mu out to customize YET. Wait till May or June ). I really hope that Bandai Japan makes Surplice versions of the Gold Saints, and also does a Surplice Aries Shion. And I really hope that Bandai gets back to finishing off the Hades arc!
Eternal_D Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 cool thanks, I saved the 2 pictures. I will have to get the wyvern spectre to see how the coloring on that is. I dunno how I'm going to change the clothes but def would like to have the spectre versions of the gold saints.
shinohara Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 (edited) IMHO, you better wait a bit before you start customising..... I got this feeling that soon or later, bandai will release the spectre version of gold saints..... they already got the mould, all they got to do is put purple colour and slightly alter the mould..... and WALLA!!! you got the spectre version .... Just like yamato... when the 1/48 was a huge hit, they're easily churn out the VF-1 variants Edited February 15, 2005 by shinohara
Eternal_D Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 yah, probably right...but I still woudlnt' mind trying it. probably going to do a Shion and see how that turns out.
Cellsenshi. -------------------------------------------------------- translation: The asian "grand popes" of Bandai Japan specialised in toys for those over 13 (like the Myth Cloths for example...) were at Bandai France today and excellent news has been announced: 1) First off, the line won't stop in 2006 like certain people said on the forum ( the message from Bandai France in Dixièm Planète was wrongly interpreted), but will continue happily and well because it has had great success in Asia and other places in the world (oh really??). 2) After the Cold Saints and the 3rd Armor Bronzes, Bandai will continue onto the other specters (in hoping that the production of the OAVs comme to give them some grain to grind...). 3) And finally, and it's here that the info is mouthwatering, the Knights of Asgard and the Marinas are also planned to be continued onto!!!! Don't ask me if the Steel Saints, Marine and Shina, the other 5 loser Bronze Saints or whatever other figure is forseen, I don't know anything about that... It's obviously clear to us now that Bandai doesn't have the intention to stop at the end of 2005. I leave you to simmer with these bits of info (my opinion being that these have been the best in a long time), but it appears that Bandai Japan won't give up the chicken that lays golden eggs and that's even better for us collectors! Cellsenshi. ------------------- Sooooo, this is a guy that has always given out correct info in the past on the Saint Cloth Myths. It seems he's a freelance writer for magazines and stuff, and stays in contact with Bandai. All I can say is YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!! Now I'm waiting for my Radamanthys to arrive. Of course Chronopost is acting wierd again, and this time they can't even follow the package out of Japan... It's supposedly left Japan Monday morning and hasn't arrived in France yet, which is damned odd since every other time it's only taken a day for the damned plane to land in France. *sigh* I think they have a grudge against me. *sniff* edit: for size and crap Edited February 15, 2005 by Sumdumgai
Eternal_D Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 I will second your YES!! and they need to get cracking on the rest of the anime already....finish it up!! really looking foward to the asgard god warriors.
zeo-mare Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 (edited) great news i cannot wait for these to be released Edited February 15, 2005 by zeo-mare
