Are there any pictures of the Battroid Mode? EDIT: That's looks SUPER! HI~! wicked acd & UN Spacy THX FOR YOUR'S REPLY~! I ALWAYS DREAMING FOR A MAX VF-1 COLLECTION remember that at the first time i see the tv series when i'm a child MAX using the battroid mode to fight let me shock~!! VERY COOL~~! but just have two of them in the yamato series one is TV-1J and other is MOVIE -1A BUT TOO BAD, I don't like the 1S style marking use in 1A very much ( EXCEPT ROY VF-1S) tv style come more "CLASSIC" so I decided to go with a MAX TV CUSTOM Quote
Göönk Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 I'm a fan of the TV serie YOUR JOB IS OUTSTANDING Maybe pictures are slightly too big but I prefer too big than too small ! very nice match with the White/red striped 1J of LIEUTENANT IHIJO Use takatoy stickers and you're done. How did you do the panel lines? (maybe some one asked it already ? I was just watching the pictures ) HI Göönk thx first~! I also think the pic is TOO BIG..... next time I will make it smaller ( IF I STILL HAVE SOME PIC TO POST...) but sorry that some words i don't get exactly the word " panel line" did you mean the thin line on the whole surface? if yes, he he, I just simply use the "GUNDAM MARKER" mark on it directly , and use eraser to clean it up too lazy.... and the word " takatoy stickers" is that mean the posture of they two use in the pic ? or mean the stickers come with the package? I don't know how to change my nicked name so I make it fast just add the explanation In my signature really sorry of that, hope this can help Quote
Wicked Ace Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 he he, I just simply use the "GUNDAM MARKER"mark on it directly , and use eraser to clean it up too lazy.... Wow! I didn't know the Gundam marker panel lines looked that good. The panel lines I've seen done with the Gundam markers always looked to thick for my tastes, but the panel lines on the "TV Max" look really good. Quote

YES, the line is also thick as I just mark on it so I must use eraser to clean up and make it thin but , maybe in the photo the line look's thin maybe you see the real thing is just same as your tastes ..... hirohawa Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 Great work! Looks really well done. The Max 1A is really cool. I hope Yamato makes one of these. Quote
Göönk Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 1) Kanji nickname rules. I didn't know you could use them and I think I'm going to create a new account with Kanji instead of Romanji ! 2) takatoy stikers are stickers made by a guy called ... TAKATOY and they're really nice ones. Thin, easy to apply, nice definition, you cut them yourself so they are cut as you want. If you want blanck around the marking, put some, if u don't want, then cut it next to the letters etc... they're made out of 3M stickers sheets. You can buy them at Twin Moons or Valkyrie Exchange I guess. 10 US$ each sheet (you can make at least 2 valks with a single sheet) Quote
柿崎速雄 Posted February 14, 2004 Author Posted February 14, 2004 thx Göönk I didn't heart takatoy sticker before because I come from HK do you know how I can get it oversea? or no way? I want to get it because I want to re-fine all my 1/48 VF-1 but must buy 4 new set of stickers first~! Quote
Hikuro Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 Now all you need is a Kakazaki Custom VF-1A and you'll have your own little Vermillion team. I would wanna do similar with my 1/48's, but they're too expensive to wanna custom and screw up... Quote

I don't know where takatoy lives. He may even sell those stickers by himself. Quote

You apparently have the ability to customize a 1/48, and I would highly recommend Anasazi's waterslide decals - they stay on much better than any sticker ever will, and are much thinner than stickers too. PM Anasazi through this board's Private Messanger, and ask him about getting a set of decals. By the way - great looking custom! Edited February 14, 2004 by fulcy Quote
EXO Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 Awesome. Now you have to customize a Kakizaki one. Because... well that's you. Quote
