Jolly Rogers Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 Unless the people that hit you look like they are judgment-proof, you should get a lawyer to help increase your car-buying budget.
UN Spacy Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 AHEM. I'm a VW loyalist so this pains me to say...... .....the CIVIC can never lose. Once you go rice, you can't beat the price.
areaseven Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 How about a mid-80s Toyota Corolla GT-S (otherwise known to us as AE-Hachi-Roku)?

Jolly Rogers Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 In that case, you should direct the question to your dad, not me. However, knowing parents, he'd probably blame you for not driving defensively enough to avoid such morons, so you are better off getting another lawyer.
Vostok 7 Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 How about a mid-80s Toyota Corolla GT-S (otherwise known to us as AE-Hachi-Roku)? Great choice. It's still a good car. As long as you get the GT-S and not the SR5. Both are still RWD and still strong cars but the GT-S has a way better engine. It's much harder to find though But you can usually get one for about 2-4k if you buy right. Vostok 7

J A Dare Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 Might I suggest a mid-80s Mazda RX-7? I had an 86 back in high school, 90-93. I ran that thing so hard the few years that I had it. The sealant in the rotary engine broke down (a problem with the Wankel engine) which in term left my engine in smoke! Nevertheless, she was sooooo much fun while she lasted.
