Powered Convoy Posted Thursday at 11:09 PM Posted Thursday at 11:09 PM (edited) Talked about it here but wanted to give it more attention. Are the black stand pieces for the Isamu / Max / Shammy wave extremely brittle or is it just mine (being kept who knows where sealed in Japan for the last 20 years)? The clasps and the rods each are breaking and cracking without much provocation. I did get a first concert Minmay separately and noticed she came with a white stand. So I'm figuring that it may have broken or the person who sold it got confused. Thank you. Edit: I'm seeing it may be common but hoping to hear more from the forums. MKT Posted yesterday at 03:01 AM Posted yesterday at 03:01 AM I don't recall the stand plastics being made of the type that can become brittle, both white or black. Perhaps a couple of the semi-circle prongs did come off the gate right out of the box, but they were held with very thin sprues. The stand rods felt pretty robust. But I never used any of the black ones, as I felt they were pretty unsightly. For the figures with black stands and some of the later white ones, I went with ridiculously cheap KO transparent Tamashii Stage Act stands instead. Quote
Sanity is Optional Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM Mine were very brittle, I manged to get a few together safely, but they were definitely brittle. Quote
Powered Convoy Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago Yeah, these are full on coming off the sprues without much effort and then the tubes and rings on the clasps instantly shattered with any force. Quote
