I don't doubt.  If they aren't cutting steel for the molds necessary for the Blazer specific parts, I'm sure they already have all the necessary 3D data done, validated and ready to go to the toolmaker.

I'm wondering whether this one will hit clearance sales after release.  If it starts showing up discounted on Amazon later, I'll probably grab a few more for customs.

I'll definitely get a 3rd if I find it cheap at Amazon or Mandarake so that I can leave one in Fighter mode and the other in Battroid mode.  I've seen the Fire Valkyrie go for pretty cheap so I'm crossing my fingers.  I'll keep my Yamato 1/60 in one mode.

There will probably be plenty on Mandarake after release.

At that point, unless you actually want the half-coated fighter mode, it'd be a lot less work just swapping the head and shoulder fins to a normal Fire Valk, and touching up the parts that aren't already red.  

I'm thinking something more like this:

I've been wanting to make one of this type for a while, but I really want to take that even a step further, and customize it into a short-winged variant.  

I'm much more comfortable experimenting on an HMR than I am with one of my old Yammies, so I'm going to see if I can't find a way to print up some conversion parts for the wings and wing gloves.

Yeah that's definitely how I would make the custom.  Although I'd have to get a spare Fire Valkyrie and that scheme is not high on my list.

I usually make customs of canon schemes but Skull Squadron variants are always welcome.

In the case of the 19P I think we're pretty close already.  Just repaint all the red as black, replace the Zora Patrol emblems with the UN Spacy kite, and slap some Jolly Rodgers on the vertical stabs.

Really hoping the speakers are just pegged in and can be removed easily.  It's always bothered me that they're swept forward.

I do have a concern, their latest white colored Valks look really cheap.  Like the 0S, the white plastic looks terrible.

Can I also just.. point and laugh.. that Bandai finally are making white gear... and this is like the only oddball whose canon gear aren't white?

Bandai has done white landing gear on prototype before and then they don't end up that way so we will see.

Good point, I'm mostly curious because the Fire Valk was the first one they actually released with, I think.  Will be interesting to see if they don't change them.

The HMR VF-0D also has somewhat white, or rather, unpainted greyish landing gears.

Same concern on the HMR white plastic. Makes me think abt waiting for a DX version.

Ya, it looks like the landing gear is simply moulded in white. I bet dollars to donuts they’ll paint them silver lol!

Yeah I wouldn't mind having at least 1 of every type of HMR Valkyrie in a Roy scheme.  I love the VF-4G Roy.  Someday I'll get to customizing a VF-2SS.  I'll probably wait a little to order a 3rd VF-19P.
