BlueMax Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) This is somewhat unexpected, I’ve always thought the Emerald force would be priority, but I guess this is way more logical from a mild retooling standpoint. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02qQZjyz7pxih8wobgHvdvmnMNNHRK7NeKyr3CiWxCUTq2KXS9y8HWnUQZEqZ4opcAl&id=61556322872381 Edited 23 hours ago by BlueMax Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Has Bandai released a Macross toy unexpectedly like this? Literally coming out in a week. Quote
jenius Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago More info in a week right? Not released in a week. Quote

Chronocidal Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Bout time! Now all the customs can begin! A little surprised that there's no 19S/F first, but I'm not going to complain. I never got brave enough to rework my Yamatos, but the tolerances at this scale should be a little more forgiving to do some repaints, and make some custom wings to kitbash a couple of black and white VF-19Fs. Bring it on! I need a half dozen to experiment with. Quote
m0n5t3r Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Yay! One of the valks on my HMR wishlist. I hope the 3 M+ valks are next... or VF-25s. Quote
strikevalk Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago so awesome. hopefully the VF-17 is somewhere in the que! Quote
mechaninac Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago This actually makes perfect sense. Other than the head and the addition of the speaker fins on the shoulder pauldrons, the unit is identical to the Fire Valk. I may get this but I'm really interested in the Emerald Force's S and F Blazer variants. Quote
MKT Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Welcome news indeed. I guess many missed out on 1/60 VF-19P, but also great news for those who have it. Quote
Sanity is Optional Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Sweet! Been wanting the Yamato for a while, but this will do instead! Quote
PointBlankSniper Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Not planning to get this, probably... but more pretty pics of this to flood the interwebs is great news for the eyes and wallet. Quote
Lolicon Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Was expecting this since the VF-19 has holes in its shoulders for the 19P speaker pods. Quote

I think they also dual-purposed them for the soundbooster mounting bracket, but yeah, this was absolutely a no-brainer. Considering the lack of releases in the past few months, I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. Quote
sh9000 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Sweet. Solid color stands too. Although I'll continue to use my clear stands instead. Quote

Seems kinda janky to me when pretty everything is just a copy of the Yamato 19. Quote

Still stings cos after that it seldom popped up and then the price climbed... Quote

Thing is, they didn't copy Yamato's sound booster, they just popped out another production of the original HM version, so the Yamato bracket design wouldn't work. They just skipped a step by never making Fire Valk-specific shoulder panels. Quote
